I would stay away from this jeweler if you have an expensive watch. Brought in Rolex datejust to get crystal replaced that had minor bubble damage due to exposed to heat but was still operational and wearable. After owner bragged about being a Rolex expert and recorded serial number and called and said he found new crystal that would take like 20 minutes to replace, he proceeded to replace crystal and after about 15 minutes says crystal wasn’t the right size because of the diamond bezel. The issue is he gave the watch back with a totally cracked and broken crystal and completely detached bezel. Now watch is inoperable and has to placed in plastic bag until taken to a reputable specialist.I would not recommend this jeweler for high end watch repair. Funny how you say bezel is bogus when it costs more than all your cheap fake watches you have in your store. By the way got sapphire crystal fixed in less than 1 hour from a real jeweler with the same diamond bezel you had no clue on how to repair. So please keep your big mouth shut and try to keep fixing your cheap jewelry with all your family fake 5 star...
Read moreGot ripped off by Vik, once, and almost twice. I brought a ring in to be sized with a metal ring sizing adjuster. He charged me about $75-80 a couple of years ago for this, and it broke last week. I went in to have him replace it with a new one and Vik starts writing up a work order, says it will take a week. After writing it up and separating the carbon copies, he writes in a $75 charge for it. I asked why is he adding a charge, since it broke. He accuses me of breaking it on purpose, and questions where the little piece of silver went (it's about 5 cents worth of silver that broke off that little wing on the sizing adjuster). I asked him why he wasn't going to repair it as a quality issue, and he again accused me of trying to rip him off by stealing the little broken piece. So I went down the road to Goldie's (on Mercer) and talked to Nick, who said these metal ring sizing adjusters are at most only a couple of bucks a piece, even in silver (true, looked it up on Amazon and you can get a 12 pack for about 10 bucks). Nick is...
Read moreThis is a jewel in Dripping Springs! I live in Dripping, and I needed to have my wedding rings resized and didn’t want to drive to North Austin where I purchased it. I remembered that there was a jewelry store in the shopping center with H-E-B. I called Vik’s, and learned that he could do what I needed. I dropped them off, and although I couldn’t pick them up at the time, they were ready in about five days or so.
I just picked them up, and I am beyond satisfied! They look like new! He not only resized them, but cleaned them and added a special coating that makes them look like new. None of the normal wear and tear is evident; they look like though did when I first bought them. In addition, I can bring them back at any time to have them cleaned at no cost. It was well worth the cost.
I recommend this business without reservation. It is nice to know that I don’t have to drive to Austin because we have we have a great jewelry store in Dripping Springs that...
