In fairness: We placed a Too Good to Go order from this place, which means the product isn't the freshest. The point of the app is to sell stuff that would be thrown out otherwise.
I paid $5.36 for a Too Good to Go bag from this place, and received one small cupcake and a mini bundt cake. Okay - far less than what you typically receive (and I have used TGTG at many places), but the real kicker was the cupcake expired on November 17th (we picked up today, December 21st). Secondly, the cupcake was made by another bakery - The Secret Baker NC - which as far as I can tell has no affiliation with Bull City Confectionaries.
How did this place come to sell another baker's product, and over a month expired at that? Beyond unacceptable.
Again, in fairness, this is not a criticism of their fresh-baked products or of anything else. This was simply a terrible TGTG experience I would warn others away from purchasing from them on...
