This location is owned by Seasons Inn TRAVERSE CITY. I stayed for 1 week.
I rented a room at the economy inn accross from the the Hotel. It was 250 a week, I had 215 and had to run to the bank to get the rest of my money which was 35 dollars.
I worked late on Friday which was the day rent was due. I called and let the lady know on Friday morning from the front desk, I told her i couldn't pay till later in the night friday.
Friday night rolled around, I worked and then ran out of gas. I got back in after being help with gas at 2am. I went to the office and told the man I had 215 bucks.
I told him i had to go to the bank to get the other 35 on Saturday.
Saturday rolled around and I went in to talk to the manager to let her know what was going on. She accussed me of making excuses and told me to get my stuff and leave the premises.
I said theirs no way you can work with me on this and she said we did. And you failed. We gave you till 8 Friday night. I said "you never specified a time." She then told me to leave again.
Mind you other hotel guest were eating in the breakfast area while she is raising her voice at me. Being very disrespectful. I ask to speak to the manager and she said "I am the managaer." I said "Can I talk to the owner.
She said no.
I left and walked back in to tell her i would let the owner know what happened and i was also letting him know about the living conditions in the motel.
Our room was not cleaned, we had previous guest blood on our sheets, the bathroom floor had severe water damage.
I reported and took picture of before and after i cleaned the room. The A/c and heat unit had 2 inch thick mold where the heat comes out. I cleaned that as well.
The maintance man fixed the toilet that you couldnt sit on without it tipping. Overall the hospitallity and ethics of the manager was unexceptable.
You dont treat your customers like that. Period! I get i had to leave but the whole situation was wrong.
I will be...
Read moreA real Gem! We were looking for a place to stay in Traverse city over St. Patrick's Day weekend and we got a great rate for a standard room at the Seasons Inn. We had asked for a clean and quiet room as my wife was coming off a 12 hour night shift as a CCU nurse, and she has allergies to pet dander and molds. Well the room we got was fantastic, the bedding looked brand new, high quality and was very clean with extra pillows. The bathroom had a combination shower and tub that was angle shaped and cozy, with instant hot water even though we were on the second floor near the end of a hallway. There was a desk, built in microwave and refrigerator, nice lighting, light blocking curtains for those of you that like to sleep in and a heating cooling unit that was easy to control and heated the room quickly. It had a variety of fan settings so you could set it for constant fan if you are a white noise sleeper. There is no carpet in the rooms so we think it just makes for a cleaner hotel with fewer allergens. The carpet in the halls is indoor/outdoor style so it cleans well and dries out fast from people walking in or out or coming from the pool/whirlpool area. Although the hotel allows dog we didn't see or smell any trace of them being there. The pool area isn't the largest but more than adequate. It was very clean and functional for families as the pool runs 3 to 5 feet and the whirlpool is in an alcove. Pool towels are available at the front desk. The entire pool area is surrounded by glass and has a high ceiling which helps with the air circulation so you are not dealing with any musty smells or chlorine heavy air. The coffee/hot water for tea was available 24/7 and is good quality with a bottle of creamer in the refrigerator. For breakfast there was o.j., apple juice, boiled eggs, various yogurts, dry cereals, and a variety of muffins, bagels, toast and pastries. All in all we found this place to be a real gem and we will definitely be...
Read moreI wish I could give it a 0. I was rented room 104 which had a broken lock that the "manager" knew was broken and stated that there was a work order and should have been fixed and when I requester another room she said it does lock "you have to pull it hard" which she came and pulled and finagled the lock so that it was shut. Thinking everything was okay, I went to dinner and when I returned and proceeded to lock the door from the inside IT WOULDN'T LOCK. I again requested another room and she said she had no more rooms available yet she proceeded to check two single white males into seperate rooms and a whole family in another whereas myself a single Black female was given an unsafe, first floor room right near an exit door. Given that I had asked nicely for an accommodation to another room and/or a refund and then denied my request and ignored,I called the police to file a police report after I was refused a refund or a room change considering the valid safety concern. No satisfaction there either. I was advised by the officer to write this review and one on Yelp! I felt this was a racially charged incident. The manager is a disgrace for all those in hospitality. I hope the owner trains the staff better regarding customer service and the mere fact of not offering a room that should be deem "out of service" due to maintenance. Clearly, she was aware of the problem well before I got there, yet I was given an unsafe room. Considering, all the things that happen in our society today. I can't and refuse to allow for the "cameras to monitor and deter somehow the actions of an attacker as the manager suggested as solace to the situation. I've never been treated like this. Deplorable customer service and ratched attitude. On a good note, I drove over to Baywatch Resort where the hospitality and rooms, etc. were magnificent! Thanks for the awful experience Traverse City , specifically Seasons...
