My fiance is a type 1 diabetic. His blood sugar was 80 and dropping. I told the hostess his blood sugar was going low so I needed to buy a cookie. I went to the register and waited for her to stop talking to a waitress and then she turned and asked for a cash drop. She finally rung me up. After a 40 min wait we were taken to a side of the restraunt where there was only 6 people. and . on the side of bathrooms there was a total of 12 people. My grandmother asked why it had taken so long with such a empty dinning room. She had the Hostess and the waitress turn and yell at us to go somewhere else if we didn't like it. We were told they only had one cook. We have been to many places That have been short staffed and NEVER been so rudely treated. I witnessed 2 servers, 1 Hostess, 1 manager, 2 males in the back. I have worked 6 years as a Bob Evans server. I know what short staffed is and 6 employees for 18 customers is not it!! 8 of which already were eating food and were about done. Read moreCreated an account with all my information added to it then I placed an order on their website for delivery. Even paid a $15 tip. I ordered a family thanksgiving dinner to be delivered at 5pm tonight. Total for food came to $63 and some change, total after taxes, tips, delivery was $90. Well 5pm came and went so I called Bob evans and was first told that the delivery driver did not show and food has been sitting there. My first question was why didn’t I get a call. My second was why does it not say in their website that they use a delivery service. When I completed my order I was made to believe an employee from bob evans was delivering our food. I received no answers. Then the phone was given to my husband and he spoke to management. Management told him I didn’t select delivery when ordering and she would not reimburse us. I am outraged with the way they handled us and this situation. To have management get on the phone and lie knowing damn well that our order was to be delivered. Not even an apology after over an hour of waiting for our family thanksgiving dinner to be delivered and for not contacting me about it. Hope they enjoyed...
