My 60 some year old uncle recently purchased a mattress from here. He loves the mattress, but apparently a 30 min demonstration on a flex base is enough to warrant a 1200 cost with zero warranty or flexibility. After being repeatedly told that there is a purchase guarantee, which is what he has told me over 100 times, he purchased. Apparently not. On a fixed income he went on a limb and splurged on a purchase that now causes him neck pain and can not use. The company’s corporate line is well he should have read the multiple pages that are provided to him and shouldn’t have initialed. I am not absolving my uncle of error or mistake, but don’t take advantage of individuals with repeated talking points of return and not emphasize that it only pertains to the mattress and not the most expensive components of the purchase. It’s disingenuous and frankly sad. He now has a $1200 worthless base that he can do nothing about, but hey! Congrats Sleep number for...
Read moreBed does not have a 15 year warranty as the sales man states. It is a 15 year pro rated warranty. The first fourteen months its covered at 100%. After that is is a pro rated amount BED IS TWO YEARS OLD SO PRORATED AMOUNT WAS 60% ITS NOT CHEEP. Called customer service and the rep has you trouble shoot the bed remove parts unplug etc, Then she states this is what you NEW Foam and a strap to hold the foam and it will cost you $414.06 to replace parts and have them installed. I am not a bed expert so I paid for my parts and installation of parts. Technicians arrive installed some parts stated other parts are not needed. Send them back . So I get a call back from corporate and they are NON refundable . SO just keep in mind though out the years if the pump or anything goes out the air chambers side of the bed caves in, foam collapse .You will be paying out of pocket and investing more money!! AS they stated at corporate and the store its in...
Read moreBuyer beware!!! So after purchasing a $7000 bed you would think I would be having the best sleep and the best dreams ever. Well, nope thanks to Sleep Number. I have nightmares now. I feel like I have made a terrible expensive mistake. Not only are you forced to keep (in my opinion) an overpriced bed frame, but you are also charged for exchanging a mattress during their so called 100 days. But wait it gets better. My mattress now wont deflate. Called 800 number guess what, closed. Called again during business hours, oh you gotta be home to trouble shoot. Well let me just miss work to trouble shoot a $7000 months old product. They finally agree to send a tech to my house. Guess what, can't give you a time frame. Wait for an email to let you know what time to be there. Oh but there's more. The appointment is 5 days out. So in the meantime sleep on a broken $7000 bed. What a waste of money. Boy did I make a mistake with...
