Customer Service at this store really sucks. First, I was about to purchase 4 sets of Wine glasses, 2 for Red Wine and 2 for White Wine. There was absolutely no one on the floor to ask to. I proceeded to pull off the shelf the boxes and surprise, surprise, there was only 1 box of the Red Wine glasses. I couldn't ask anyone to look for stock because there was nobody available. Out of nowhere a lady came up because She saw the boxes on the floor, She was about to put them back on the shelf, I stopped her I asked about the glasses hoping that She would at least have the willingness to look for them. She just said: "We don't have anything else in the stock room, everything is out here" in that tone. Jesus, Sorry I asked. Secondly, there was a long line of about 30 people and had to wait about 40 minutes to pay for the purchase. Then I finally approached the register and asked the cashier, I believe her name was Susan, if there was boxes for the Ladies shoes I was purchasing; She looked at me as if I was from another planet and said: "No, They throw them away"; She had a blue latex glove on her right hand and no glove on the other. Then I asked if my friend didn't like the sandals I was buying, or the mobile phone charger cord didn't work, what was the return policy. She just said: "just bring it back in the same box along with your receipt". Then I asked her if She could wrap the sandals with paper or something and not just throw them in the bag as She was doing. Again, She had this angry look as If I was asking her to go to Mars without a Space Suit. I do not understand for the life of me, how these stores survive with the Shitty! Customer Service their employees provide. It is as if nobody cared about the bad Customer Service experience at their stores. I would not go back, except if I need to...
Read moreThis particular T.J.Maxx get a D- Rating. The stores presents neat for the most part. Rows of organized products line the shelves, (unlike their sister store @ West Town Market) Purse and Beauty Products Display Neatly. However, Golden Rule states you must give something to receive. To say the associates and managers are unhelpful and rude, is a complete and gross understatement. Associates dash across the floor, from one end to another to avoid being the one "tagged" (called for help by a confused customer) they walk along with their smudge expression, annoyed with anyone that looks at them in any way. I nicknamed them "the cool kids" . Now the supervisors aka "managers" /coordinators or person with a hundred titles but not really any power are busy bodies, however, don't really help much in literally any way. They actually are pretty passive aggressive (think Regina George/ Mean Girls) one cashier Rolled her eye at me LIKE OUT LOUD!!! WOW!! Mad respect. Lastly they wanted to charge full price minus 10% for broken merch!! Then they tried demonstrating how you could "fix" it!! đđ That made my day. On a side note, one employee who was superb, was Amber from Home Goods Security. đ 10000% what a excellent and exceptional employee are. AMBER is anything but mediocre, she was friendly, helpful, quick to lend a hand without so much as batting an eyelash. Quiet freshing from the upity and snotty attitude that has infected this location. You need more employees like her. And less like the one who runs the jewelry department...
Read moreWhere to begin? The lines start nearly at the shoe section. The customer service is abysmal⊠I mean seriously, as a retail worker myself, I understand how tiring it can be, but to be completely dismissive and unenthusiastic is another thing. Maria S. shut me down completely and simply said, âYouâre going to have to go back in line.â She said this while not even making eye contact with me and turned her back and walked away. It was just a return, and I had legitimately walked out of the store not 5 mins prior⊠The item leaked all over the contents in my bag and made a huge mess. So 15-20 mins of standing in line later, I was met with her again to help the cashier as there was an error with the receipt. So pretty much, I had to wait in line just to be helped by her instead of just helping me to begin with. It isnât that just so funny :l. I donât understand why she had to be so unhelpful and rude, but thatâs el paso for you. Not asking for any miracles, but some help would be appreciated as a...
