2/17/24 9:00 PM: So my wife and I are trying to find somewhere to eat and drink other than our usual Bubbaâs, Union, Chiliâs, and Applebees. Weâre middle aged and donât go to the numerous âbuy one, get two free stabbings or shotâ bars. We donât find anything of interest to us and finally decide to try Twin Peaks at the Fountains. Weâd been there before only twice with an out of town friend who likes to go there, both times on weekdays. Last night, big mistake!! We waited to be sat about 25 minutes, however, place packed bc of MMA fight. At front, one of two hostesses was there with her needy boyfriend and holding hands and all into one another (Uh clown, this is a business, your girlfriend is supposedly working). No manager walking the floor to shoo the needy boyfriend away. We finally get sat in the patio area. Takes the waitress about 15 minutes to finally come and take our drink order. Waitress tells my wife theyâre out of the tap beer she wanted đ¤¨, I order my Dos XX. 15 minutes later a different waitress w two beers in hand brings my wifeâs beer, but not mine and walks away w the other beer-it was for someone else nearby. I looked at my wife, puzzled like WTH? About 10 minutes later another waitress, not our original waitress, finally brings my beer. Another 5â10 minutes later, our original waitress, finally comes to take our order-queso and chips and fried pickles. After about 20 minutes another waitress brings us our queso (warm, not hot) and chips/crumbs. It was ridiculous, because we also ordered the fried pickles, and that wasnât brought at the same time. The queso was okay, but we mustâve had about five whole chips, and the rest underneath were crumbs. Finally some other waitress brings our 2nd appetizer w a teeny tiny little thing of ranch for our mountain of fried pickles. We also ask her for silverware and napkins. She says âyes let me get that for youâ - she then dropped into an interstellar Black Hole bc we never saw her again or the utensils/napkins. We start munching and then ask for our second and last round of beers AND our utensils/napkins. Then the original waitress comes back (does bring the napkins/utensils) and now tells me âweâre also out of Dos XX.â WTH??? đł So I ordered a different draft beer and we finally finished our meal. Despite our âoriginalâ waitress being pleasant, the others sucked, didnât smile, werenât pleasant, just plopped the food on the table and walked away. This night of eating and drinking was one of the worst service experiences weâve ever had. However, in the waitresses minuscule defense, due to the full house bc of the MMA fights, it was apparent management did not schedule enough waitresses to cover all sections properly, and on top of it, waitresses were ping-ponging from one side of the restaurant to the other to the patio (at least ours was). I guess manager on duty wasnât on the ball for the night either. Definitely will NOT be going back to this place other than when our out-of-town friend wants to go there during the week. Weâll probably get a lot better service then as before when...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant and was deeply disappointed by the way I was treated. Upon being seated at a table I wasnât comfortable with, I politely asked the waitress if I could move to another table, which she accommodated. However, when I noticed the TV at the new table wasnât working, I moved to the table directly behind me so I could enjoy watching football.
Apparently, this upset the staff. The manager approached me with an unprofessional and rude attitude, saying, âMy girls are concerned because you keep moving tables, and your stuff is getting lost.â This was completely unnecessary, especially since we hadnât even ordered anything yet. It felt as though I was being unfairly judged and treated as a problem when all I wanted was to sit somewhere comfortable and enjoy the game.
To make matters worse, the food service was extremely slow. We waited over an hour for our food while watching several other tables, who were seated after us, receive their meals before we did. It felt as though this delay was intentional, possibly to spite us for moving tables, which is completely unacceptable.
Update: At the end of our visit, the manager (Issac) the name our waitress gave us when asked, came back to our table and handed us free queso and chip cards. While this could have been a kind gesture, the managerâs tone was condescending when they said, âThank you for the review.â It came across as dismissive and unprofessional, further cementing my disappointment with the overall experience.
As a paying customer, I simply wanted to sit somewhere comfortable and enjoy my meal and the game. I didnât mean to cause any inconvenience, and I believe the staff needs to improve their customer service, food service efficiency, and professionalism. This experience was frustrating from start to finish, and I hope management takes steps to provide a better...
Read moreThis place has always held a special place in my heart, itâs been a favorite spot for me and my husband for years. The service has consistently been incredible, and the food never disappoints. Weâve come here so often that weâve formed bonds with some of the amazing servers, and I genuinely care about them. But recently, Iâve learned things that have truly broken my heart.
Some of the girls, clearly stressed and worn down, confided in me about whatâs been happening behind the scenes specifically regarding their GM, Viri. I was shocked. According to them, sheâs completely unfit to hold her position any longer. Her mood dictates everyoneâs day. She picks favorites, treats others with blatant disrespect, and brings her personal issues to work in the most toxic ways imaginable.
What hurt me the most was hearing that sheâs allegedly involved in a sexual relationship with a bar back who is twice her junior. Itâs inappropriate and unsettling. The girls Iâve come to know and admire are clearly uncomfortable, even fearful, working under her leadership. Thatâs not just bad management, itâs a hostile environment. I hate to say it, but I donât feel right coming back here until something changes. Iâm heartbroken that itâs come to this, but I wonât stay silent. Iâm already reaching out to higher management because someone needs to stand up for these women. They deserve better. This is supposed to be a place of joy and good memories, not one where people feel unsafe and unheard.
Do better. For them. For the guests. For what this place used...
