Dona Pasado is located at The Citadel in the Little River area. If you haven't been there yet, run! It is a bakery with lots of delicious looking bakery items, plus they offer a limited breakfast menu. The Citadel is a food hall with a rooftop. Dona Pasado is one of twenty some restaurants there.
We sat upstairs on the rooftop. This was our first time here, so everything was new to us. We ordered the Pavlova cake from her restaurant for our dessert thru our server. It was brought upstairs to us. It was absolutely delicious!
After we had our dinner and dessert, we ran downstairs to Michi's bakery to buy her Pavlova cake to take home, but she was sold out of them.
The owner of Dona Pasado is Michi, and she is a delight! She is friendly and energetic and aims to please. You will have her full attention with a smile. We will be back to see her for sure.

with 6+ years in miami, it’s safe to say i’ve had my fair share of cookies at this point. while i can’t (and won’t) call myself a self-proclaimed cookie connoisseur, which i guess i just did, i can call a good cookie spot when i eat one.
dona posada has one of my top five favorite chocolate chip cookies in the 305. it’s so, so solid and delicious to the point where, if i ever find myself within a 2-mile radius of the citadel, i’ll always stop for one.

But it was the accompanying aioli that was a revelation.
Every pastry is made fresh and locally. This chicken empanada was finished up right before my eyes and served piping hot. It’s the kind of service we’ve come to take for granted in a city like ours.
I usually visit the Citadel on the weekends for the coffee shop next-door, but this is going to be my new go to.
