What a great find at the Citadel on the first floor! We thought there were only restaurants here but instead we found a special place that sells the memorabilia of our childhoods!
The owner of the place was very happy to help us with any questions we had, but wasn't one of those people who follow you every step you take.
There is so much to choose from here: Barbie doll collections in original boxes, Star Wars in very good condition still in their original boxes, comic books, old Playboy magazines, figurines, paintings, clothing, costumes, shoes, boots. matchbox cars, arcade games, lunch boxes, etc. It was so much fun going thru these and remembering the good old times. Some things may seem priced too high, and others are not.

Read moreThe store is very nice & had a lot of cool products that are very nostalgic. I drove 30 mins from south beach to see this store. First off the lady working there clearly did not want to be there. She was very rude and didn’t have basic knowledge of prices of the shoes I wanted to buy. After seeing I was interested I expressed they didn’t have a tag and saw they’re sitting on a rack with every shoe being 25 dollars. Why would one assume or expect the price to be different. She then says she needed to call her boss with an attitude for no reason & told me the price was 60 dollars. Now I have no issues with it, it’s the simple fact the women was rude and took no interest in helping or her job. my opinion this is why vintage store never will withstand the retail space long term. Hopefully nobody else gets...
Read moreSir Thrifty is an absolutely amazing thrift store with an extremely wide range of vintage finds. I go here often since it's right by my apartment and has great range of clothes, furniture, trinkets, art, potentially everything. But nothing will beat the amazing staff and service at this shop. I was lucky enough to find a very special almost 70 year old prayer book (Siddur) printed in the very early years of Israel's establishment. The salesman could see the book was very meaningful to me and both him and the owner decided to gift me the book at no charge. As someone who thrifts very very often, this is my favorite vintage shop with...
