The food was good, the place was nice, the waitress was kind and tried her best although she didn’t speak English, but what bothers me is that they charged a $10 corkage fee when we bought a bottle of wine from their establishment. We ended up just paying it cause we didn’t want to make a scene.
Corkage fee is when your client brings their own bottle, not when they’re buying the bottle from your menu, please educate yourself if you’re in the restaurant industry or stop ripping people off.
UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE: the issue seems to be that we asked the waitress why the fee and she said that was the policy and it was just the way it was, never explained anything, we also asked her opinion on certain wines and she said she didn’t know bc she had never tried them. My husband asked her in English what her opinion was between two dishes and she didn’t understand, she thought he wanted both dishes. I speak Spanish so I intervened but for someone who doesn’t speak Spanish might have a difficult experience. The waitress brought my kids paper and pens to color and for that I am immensely grateful since our childcare fell through and had to bring our kids so cheers to...

The menu boasts a thoughtful selection of healthy and sustainable cuisine, with each dish masterfully prepared. The grilled zucchini was a surprising delight, packed with flavor. And for dessert, the grilled pineapple paired with coconut ice cream was the perfect refreshing finish.
The wine selection is exceptional, perfectly complementing the dishes, and the service is friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. Best of all, it’s affordable. Whether you’re a local or visiting, this restaurant is a...
Read moreMy family and I came here yesterday after going to the high mass for my wife’s confirmation and communion at St. Mary’s Cathedral, which is conveniently only about a mile away! The whole experience was great, our server very attentive and friendly, the food was delicious and of high quality, and even the drinks were great, cuz they have glass bottle Evian water, which is my wife’s absolute favorite! I will say that the portion sizes are fairly conservative for the price, but since it is miami and the ingredients are organic and grass fed/finished I can understand. All in all I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a great meal in a small and welcoming setting. I had the chicken thighs with pee wee potatoes, my dad had the flap steak with pee wee potatoes, my mom had the burger with grilled salad, and my wife had the ribeye with broccolini and everything was cooked nicely with the wood fire char taste from...
