Room: 130 Location : ok, you hear traffic all night and our room was on back side of the hotel . Staff: (Mary) Friendly and accommodating ❤️ Hotel: Front looks beautiful with all the flowers , but the back is pretty run down . We actually shortened our trip and only stayed one night due to the smell of the room . It smelled moldy and musky and dark. There was NO WAY we could have stayed another night that one night was enough. If not so late we would have just went somewhere else for the night . Our clothes , suitcases etc all stink due to the smell. There was a humidifier in the room and when we turned it on hoping it would help with the smell and it made it worse. Husband opening it up where the tank was and it was down right nasty , Bathroom was very clean . When I called the front desk to let them know the room smelled and there was no way we could stay another night due to smell she said oh it’s the new carpet . Umm no it is not , maybe they didn’t change the pad. No clue . I picked this hotel 💯 off of reviews and boy where they off. I am going to say the majority of the people we seen where in there late 60’s -70. Maybe they can’t smell , I have no clue. However we were looking forward to the breakfast that people bragged about on the reviews and it was a let down . The older lady whom was cooking everything was SUPER SWEET. Everything was clean and keeped up over there in the ( Tea room ) still outdated . Others were complaining how there was no meat offered , like sausage, bacon etc . There was biscuits and gravy . Eggs , quiche, and raisin brand cereal . Waffle maker , fruit , small danishes etc . It was ok . Nothing to brag about by no means. All in All our Vacation was cut short and a damper on our parade all because the room was stinky so we are going home instead of finding another place . Not how I expected to spend my last 2 days of...
Read moreI recently stayed at the Quality Inn and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Here's a detailed review of my stay:
Unpleasant Odors: Upon entering the room, I was greeted by a strong, musty smell that suggested dampness. It was evident that something had been wet in the room before, as there was a dehumidifier present. Despite its presence, the odor persisted throughout my stay, making it uncomfortable to spend time in the room. Poor Hygiene Standards: The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. When I moved the dehumidifier, I was dismayed to find something black underneath it, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning and maintenance. Additionally, to my utter disgust, my pillow had someone else's makeup stains, indicating that it hadn't been changed prior to my arrival. This negligence in housekeeping is unacceptable for any reputable establishment. Inadequate Front Desk Service: When I raised my concerns about the pillow and requested a replacement along with an extra blanket, the service at the front desk was disappointingly slow. It took over 15 minutes for the staff to attend to my request, which inconvenienced me further. Furthermore, the explanation given—that I had apparently taken the last extra blanket—seemed dubious and unprofessional. Overall Cleanliness Concerns: Beyond the specific issues mentioned, the overall cleanliness of the hotel fell short of expectations. From the state of my room to the service at the front desk, there was a pervasive sense of neglect that tainted my entire experience. In conclusion, my stay was marred by unsatisfactory hygiene standards, unpleasant odors, and subpar customer service. I would advise potential guests to exercise caution when considering this establishment, as it fails to meet even basic expectations for cleanliness...
Read moreThis review is strictly for the customer service agent, Valerie. We have NOT stayed yet. We scheduled our one day stay a few weeks ago. I purchased the extra insurance online with Expedia.
We unexpectedly had a death in the family so I reached out almost 2 weeks in advance to cancel. Expedia called QI directly to ask if they would refund us but the supervisor was out of the office for 5 days. They were left a message to call me back but never did so I reached back our directly so we wouldn't lose out on money and spoke with Valerie.
I advised her of my above-mentioned and she rudely cut me off and said yes I see the notes. I then said we are not able to make it and advised we're out of town for a funeral and family situation.
She again, rudely interrupted me and said it says non refundable on the site. I asked what the insurance was for then and she said ask Expedia, we didn't sale it to you. I asked our options. She said reschedule RIGHT NOW or you'll be charged on Saturday. I advised her we are at a funeral and there's no way I can do that RIGHT NOW! I mean we are in the middle of a very devastating situation. She replied idk then call Expedia.
I am now available to take a second to reschedule to avoid losing money but I am also taking time to leave this review. Valerie needs to learn how to speak to people and show compassion. So many other ways to say I'll need to reschedule without being short, snotty and inconsiderate.
Hope she's working the night...
