We have eaten here for the better part of two decades it seems. We have gone with the flow over the years, as some weekends got busier than others and events could tax the staff more than usual. Today we came in and were sat at two booths that adjoined for the eight of us. Our servers was absolutely pleasant and quick with drinks and ensuring we got coffee or whatever we wanted quickly. Now, both four top booths ordered at the exact same time. She said she put both orders in at the exact same time. However our friends food arrived within a reasonable time, ours however did not come. And we waited. A couple two tops tables food xame, and ours did not. As our friends were half way through their meals we asked, and our server with a seasonal name, went to check said they were working on our meals at that time. She came back and cleared our friends food from the table, and still no food or us. Both tables food was out in at the same time she claimed. But as far as cooked and served it was over a twenty minute difference! As we got our food, and started to eat, our friends were paid, getting up and leaving to allow them to sit more people. Now this was not an event weekend we are aware of but things occur, and it can be out of our servers control, and all of us coming from a tourist and customer service driven area it was quite apparent somewhere, something broke down and we were not in the know. The Filling Station failed miserably today. You need to train your kitchen staff, Eggs over medium came out Over easy. Well done, crispy hash browns were the normal lightly brown medium hash browns. One individual ordered Eggs Benedict, the English muffins weren’t toasted. Or even want for that matter! They need to work on their...

The highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly their biscuits and gravy. Each bite was a heavenly blend of flavors - the biscuits were perfectly flaky and buttery, providing the ideal foundation for the rich and savory gravy. It was clear that they use high-quality ingredients, and the care put into each dish was evident.
Apart from the exquisite food, the atmosphere of The Filling Station added greatly to the overall experience. The decor is tastefully done, with a cozy yet elegant vibe that invites you to relax and enjoy your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to the pleasant and inviting ambiance.
Whether you're a fan of classic Southern cuisine or just looking for a delightful dining spot in Eureka Springs, The Filling Station is a must-visit. Their biscuits and gravy are not just a dish but a culinary masterpiece that speaks volumes of the skill and passion in their kitchen. I left feeling completely satisfied and eager to return for another...
Read moreTried The Filling Station for the first time today and enjoyed our breakfast. Donna was excellent with our service and the food was good. We slept in, so arriving on a Monday around 10:30 meant there was no wait and plenty of seating available. We ordered the tropical mimosa, a supreme omelette (with biscuit & gravy), and a veggie omelette substituting a Belgium waffle for the toast or B&G. Mimosa was a good mix of juice and champagne. Each omelette also came with “breakfast potatoes” aka crispy hashbrowns. The omelettes were okay, but could’ve used some (any) seasoning and the veggies inside were raw (not bad but better if cooked more in my opinion). The hashbrowns were good and the B&G was good. The Belgium waffle (we added blueberries) was amazing! Definitely recommend getting the waffle! Overall, great service and good food! Someone local told us the Eureka Hash is really good, but we didn’t see the special until after we had ordered. If you’re in the area and needing breakfast, it’s definitely one of the places we...
