Cadillac Motel — Hotel in Fanning Springs

If you would like MY advice, DONT STAY HERE! I'll explain. The husband & wife owners, are extremely rude. We booked a room & told her I had my own towels, so would not need those, & if I needed anything I would ask. On our 3rd day, I heard the wife cleaning the adjacent room, asked for washcloths & she said, you told me you wouldn't need anything, & I said "I told you I wouldn't need towels, & would ask if I needed anything". She stared at me, shook her head, went to her cart, come back & handed me ONE washcloth, saying it was ALL she had, because she only brought enough for rooms that NEEDED them. She was extremely nasty. Later that evening I spilled an entire 2 litre bottle of soda, went to front desk to ask for a couple towels, & was told by the husband... NO since I had requested none in the beginning. What happened next was full blown YELLING.. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A TOWEL, AND WAS TOLD TO USE THE ONE WASHCLOTH! My husband and I had paid for one week, as we were waiting for our house to be finished. I was furious! For the record, I had worked at a local store, when the owner of motel came in, the husband, & got violent with me, when I had picked up his lottery tickets & handed them to him.. YES, THIS IS ALL TRUE. BE CAREFUL IF YOU STAY AT...

The owners are very rude , they stole a total of over 300$ off of our credit card $62.50 of which was from their ATM machine in the office . On top of this they harassed my husband & I every single day for the entire week we stayed over our adult children coming to visit us after 6pm , we also watched them call the police on an elderly paralyzed woman and had her thrown out after she had paid ahead & refused to refund her money to her and that was just one of 3 times they called the police to remove a man & his young son & would not give them there belongings after throwing them out without a refund and our last night there they called the police & tried to have us removed because I wouldn't allow him to curse at my daughter while visiting my husband & I but we're unsuccessful due to the fact we were not disturbing or disruptive in anyway . I would not recommend anyone staying at the Cadillac motel especially if you pay in cash because all they are is rip off artists with a serious gambling problems that apparently the whole town is aware of !!...

Friendly owner... but, rooms did not appear clean, some small roaches, last night had a mouse or rat slip under door and started to build a nest under the bed...feel asleep, it greeted me next morning. One water cup, no cup to warm up water for instant coffee (I brought) however, had a microwave. TV good BBQ place near good enough. Had to call management over 3am noisy apparently full-time residents. Stayed 3 nights and cleaners NEVER once cleaned. Shower wet the bathroom floor...Stayed that way all three days, had to ask for extra towels to soak it up... owner never bothered to check or do anything about it. I left my stuff in the car and only took out essentials every day for fear of transporting unwanted guests home. Bed felt ok.. Anyway NOT a great place to impress anyone but if you need a place to sleep..... I feel it has potential if only the owners would step up...the days in was not much $ more and much more Traveler Friendly if you know...
