Upon check-in staff had us assigned to the first floor. I asked if there was a higher floor due to my request when I made the reservation thru my app as well it is on my portfolio in my member account. He said yes he could accommodate. He never mentioned that your elevator was broken. We made our way to the elevator to find it was broken and the technician in the little room next to it said that he had no idea of when it would be fixed. I have lupus and cannot carry bags up two flights or more of stairs. So we went back to the front desk who then moved us back to the original room on the first floor. On my reservation as well as my portfolio I have requested to be away from elevators and ice machines due to being a super lite sleeper well he had us right by the pool. We went into the room to see how it would work and you could hear all the kids screaming in the pool and also running up and down the hallway to and from the pool. We went back to the front desk again and stated that we would like to be refunded for the charges that I had already been hit with that we were not going to stay due to the accommodations just not being right. He stated that he could not do that but would send the request on to management to have it done. I have just looked and the charges are still there. I have now called and emailed the hotel directly and to corporite to try to have the charges corrected, as well as they charged me 100 for incidentals and have only removed 50 so far but a full nights stay with taxes are...
Read moreMy wife and I checked in on 8/11. We were in Fayetteville to move my son in for his junior year of college. Around 12:45 in the morning I awoke to my wife running out of the bathroom saying something bit her on the toes. I ran to the bathroom to see ants crawling all over the toilet and the floor. I called the front desk and they offered to move to another room. The gentleman who answered the phone said the hotel has been having issues with ants for several weeks. With it being 1:00 in the morning I decided not to move rooms in the middle of the night. When I woke up the next morning the amount of ants had doubled from the previous night. I went down to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager and the young girl said the GM would call me. She came to my room 10 minutes later and gave us a key to another room across the hall so we could shower before we checked out. At checkout I again told her I wanted to speak to the manager and that 50% off our room rate was unacceptable. It has been over a week and a half and still the GM has not called. The lack of customer service and empathy from this hotel is unacceptable. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! There are plenty of other hotels in the area. For this to be a Wyndham property is very disappointing. I also called Wyndham customer service and they told me it would take 7-10 days for them to get back to me. Complete lack of service on all ends. Read moreI am writing this review at 2:25 AM from the hotel because it is so loud in the hallway that it is impossible to sleep. People have been yelling and cutting up for the past 3 hours. We are on the first floor not to far from the front desk and no employee has bothered to ask them to quite down. I am all for a great time but, I am also about being courteous. This is not even the reason I gave this place only 2 stars, From the moment we arrived it was unpleasant. The lady that checked us in could not have been more rude and unfriendly. We tried to be as pleasant as possible, hoping to get maybe a smile or something, but that never happened she was awful. I almost left right then. When we got into our room, I honestly thought someone had been laying in our beds. After looking, I could tell that housekeeping had come, and it just looked messy because the mattress’s are lumpy, and it makes the beds uncomfortable. I have no complaints with the cleanliness of the room. It is nothing fancy but, it did not feel dirty, so that is a plus. I have not had the breakfast yet to comment on that. I am not one that wants to leave bad reviews.. but this is ridiculous.
