Only gave 1 star just so I could review. Daughter went in yesterday to get her hair cut and colored before vacation. We’ve been before and it was a good experience with a different stylist. This trip was the polar opposite. Showed up for appt with Taylor and was told we were 30-min late. We had a text with the time, but they thought that was our problem, not theirs. We should have left because from that moment on, it was all about rushing to getting us out of the salon. Got left multiple times for other appointments. Got bleach all over my daughters shirt, so it’s trashed. Got the hair coloring all over her skin (neck, ears, face) and said it would come off later. Nope. I know it happens, but she’s covered! We were charged ~$100 more than any previous trip ($340!) and no one could explain why. Said her hair was “dry enough” and when it’s freezing outside. Then to top it off, once home and the hair actually dried, and you look at her hair when it’s down, looks like stair steps all the way across and same with the layers. Cool optical illusion if it was asked for. Thought they would surely fix the next day before our trip. Nope again. “Too booked”. Said we should have looked it over before we left. Guess it’s a car lot for hair, you bring it home it’s your problem. Daughter is devastated, crying and wife is a tornado. Dad can’t let it end like this before vacation, so now my daughter is going to a second salon in two days to get everything fixed. Awesome. Read moreWent in to this Ulta store with my nieces (12 &15) and truly felt discriminated against us for no reason. We were casually browsing for less than 30 minutes and had to explain at least 9 times to the employees that we were just browsing. Not only were employees following us the whole time, but the employees gathered around the back and we could clearly hear them talking about a theft and then looking in our general direction while making eye contact with one. We did not and we’re not going to steal anything. I did not say anything due to my nieces feeling uncomfortable. If the employees would have just treated us with a little respect and personal space while we browsed. I would have bough something however I didn’t want to buy anything by the time I found a product I needed. I usually always shop online but this was one of the few times I went into the store. My nieces even noticed and said how it made them feel uncomfortable how the employees were just watching us. I understand that your store probably has a quota that needs met with standards on how to treat customers, but I did not see them talk to other customers the way they proceed to continually bombard us the entire time we were there. Read moreI placed online order for pickup up using $8 from my points, $0.85 from credit card, and $20 gift card. I got my points back but I didn’t get my $20 gift card back. When I placed my order, I used all the balance of my gift card which was $20 , so I discarded after that. My order was canceled due to delayed of picking up. But I have no choice because there was snow storm and you couldn’t drive at all for 2 days. I contacted the customer service and she or he said we don’t have your gift card in our records so send us the number of the gift card. However, it’s already discarded because I didn’t keep gift card after I placed my order. They said we apologized but we cannot solve your issue. I am a diamond ultimate rewards customer since 2013 and since then Most my orders from Ulta. I told my wife don’t go to Sephora, Nordstrom, or blommingdale because I keep my loyalty to Ulta. Unfortunately, after this small issue that you cannot solve it and make me satisfied, I cannot trust Ulta anymore. I regret that I wasted my time talking to customer service back and forth without any solution.
So even you are diamond ultimate rewards since 2013 and your have spent over $10000, they don’t care to solve an issue with $20 .
