I have stayed at all of the Hilton collections and this one is by far the best overall location I have stayed in. First you have Emma, who works at the front desk. I was looking in the pantry where the snacks are located and she came over and introduced herself to me and told me if I needed something dont hesitate to ask. She was very attentive to the customers that walked in. Then you have Kitty....she is one of 2 bartenders that I met. If you are undecided on the drink you want....well take a gamble and pick a color out of kitty book. The drinks were absolutely good. While there you will meet some of the regular customers as well. When you mix kitty,drinks,and regular customers at this location it equals a great time. Then we get to Abby...she is the chef....what makes her special is she can take your normal dish and make a master piece. Dont take my word go and try 2 dishes....the Cajun shimp pasta (i really think she makes it from scratch) the chicken wings...as I would call it Crack Chicken. The season on that chicken with that golden brown crust had me getting up every night for them. If you go just tell Abby you want Leonard's crack chicken. You will not be disappointed. This is the best kept secret. If I lived in the area this is where I would go just for dinner and a great drink. Then there is a guy forgive me for not remembering his name...we are going to blame that on Kitty's drink. He is a bartender as well. Very professional and willing to go far and beyond. They close down at 10pm and it was 10:05 pm...thanks to him and Abby I had my wings that night. Lastly, jodi who is willing to solve any issues and takes responsibility and not throw her team member under the bus. I know if you visit this location you will definitely understand and agree with me. Great job to this location. You should be ranked #1 each year. Other Hilton could really learn from this location. Read moreNot friendly or welcoming on check-in. Did not mention that breakfast was an extra charge when I asked when breakfast was served. Gave me the wrong room - I booked a king size bed and was given two doubles; the process to change rooms was ridiculous - the front desk clerk almost locked me out of the room that had my stuff in it when he started to process the room change. After arriving home 6 hours later, I realized I had left my prescription reading glasses at the hotel and called the hotel, the "front desk" clerk (same guy from night before) was extremely unhelpful, almost reluctant to do anything to help until I insisted and the Guest Services representative was even worse. I understand that there is a process that needs to be followed, and that it takes time to do that; but to be told that it may be days before housekeeping even "empties their carts" and turns my missing item into the "Lost and Found" is absolutely ridiculous. Sounds to me like the staff may go shopping in the "lost" items bin before turning things in to the lost and found. The front desk clerk did not even offer to call me back, just told me to call again in the morning. When I insisted that he should be calling me back, he asked for my phone number, but not my name. The whole experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and I WILL NEVER stay at this Hilton again. They may be associated with the Hampton Inns, but the Hamptons are MILES ahead of them in all areas - customer service, friendliness of staff and FREE breakfast. Read moreI am a devoted & strictly loyal Hilton Honors Silver/Gold member for over a decade now. I have stayed at more Hilton branded hotels than I can even count. This Hilton Garden Inn is by far the BEST Garden Inn I have ever stayed at! My room was completely prepared and ready for me. I called ahead a few hours before my arrival and spoke with "Josh", asking him to put extra coffee, blanket, and towels in my room. When I arrived for check-in a few hours later, "Josh" greeted me at the desk and informed me that he had already stocked my room. The room was clean, smelled fresh (no chemical or mold or smoke odors). The hotel is quite quiet and relaxed . Safe and secure location. The pool is fantastic! We even had a pizza delivered to the pool. Room service and dining excellent. On site "food pantry" for snacks was well stocked and affordable. Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel and staff. This hotel truly represents the Hilton Brand quality that I am accustomed to. And "Josh" should definitely be recognized. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! We were traveling this time for pleasure, so our 9 yr old son was with us. This Garden Inn is a good "family" hotel.
