Sept 2024: update Great to return; now they've started an Oktoberfest special. Enjoyed it! But music was super loud. Manager came to our table as we were finishing our meal....I THINK he was asking how everything was? If so that was nice of him but honestly, we couldn't hear him. Anyway, food came out quickly...service was great. Had a bratwurst on soft pretzel bun and warm potato salad, grilled cheese with potato chips and beer. May 2024: Easy walking distance from our hotel. The only thing we didn't like was when we first arrived, the hostess did not ask where we'd like to sit or what kind of table (the bar and restaurant was practically empty). She plopped it s at the nearest table without a word. Our waitress was nice though There were "happy hour" food and drinks. Our food arrived in a good amount of wait time and it was tasty. The fish and chips had souch actual fish instead of just being puffed up with batter. The club sandwich was great! Nothing was over seasoned or over salted. Their cooks do a great job!!

This place is alright. The food was mid, but the service was really good though, and we got to sit outside on the patio on a beautiful day, so we still enjoyed ourselves greatly. We only ordered a couple appetizers to share, specifically the Pulled Pork BBQ Nachos and the Hot Honey Ravioli. I wouldn't normally order Ravioli, but this dish was just interesting enough to give it a try, and I am glad I did. It wasn't super spicy, but had just enough kick to balance the sweetness. It was kinda funny because at first I didn't think I liked them, but then I just kept putting them in my mouth, and by the end, I was sad there were none left. However, the nachos were a bit disappointing. While the taste was fine, they weren't layered properly and could have used a bit more meat, as you can see in the picture (maybe the regular nacho preparer was out that day). This is a spot that I would come with friends and family when you want a place close-by or something simple that will have a dish for everyone.

This is definitely the place to go on a Friday night for loud eating and sports watching. Its a bar and grill, with a very large bar. That’s where i sat, two people behind there although i think one is a barback. The service was great, looks like a place to get some good drinks for sure. I order a chicken and greens salad before choosing the main. The salad is great! Red Onions, some carrot, mixed greens, a bit of radish, a skewer of chicken and dressing on the side. I enjoyed the salad, clean, crisp, good dressing, no croutons (came with crackers) and chicken was pretty good. Order thin crust pizza with Italian sausage and mushroom. The pizza wasn’t bad, but just plain really, plain flavor with sauce, thin crust was more thick then i would want. I’m used to papa Murpheys delite thin crusts. Sausage good, but yeah, just reminded me of some frozen pizza I’ve had. I’d come back for the salad though.

This restaurant has been a default family gathering spot for years. We love and respect the ownership family and all they've poured into the greater Lima area for decades. This recent dining experience fell short quite a bit unfortunately and I hope they take it to heart.

Our group of 6 arrived on a Sunday around 5 pm with 2 small children. The restaurant wasn't terribly busy. Started off with a couple drinks and appetizers. Everything came out quickly and hot. Then we ordered our dinner entrees.....

44 minutes later we got our food. Waitress never gave us an update on food or kitchen being behind.

Everyone took one bite and everyone's meals were cold. All six. Except the kids chicken fingers were HOT and fresh. I'm guessing they had messed up the chicken fingers a couple times and had to re-fry? Or someone forgot to drop the tenders in the fryer for 20 minutes? Very odd.... We really just wanted to get out at a reasonable time. Manager came by and asked how things were. We filled him in. He apologized and walked away.

Waitress came over and asked how everything came out. We filled her in. She said she'd get manager.

He came back to the table and offered a free ice cream or dessert. We just wanted to get out of there. We just said no thanks... He apologized and walked away... Strange way to handle a disappointed customer. We didn't ask anything specific.

When the bill came, we find they did take 49 dollars off the bill. Which was a nice gesture. Still we will think twice about returning with just the bizarre interaction with acting manager and lack of follow through from our waitress on what may have happened with why our food was ice cold. Was it the kitchen? Was she training? If she admits something, the tip would have gone up.. we're all human. In any case we still tipped on the original amount...

If you have an out-of-state ID and are wanting a drink, don't bother coming here. Two friends of mine and I came here for a drink and a late dinner after a long day of work. We all have different state IDs due to attending the University and residing elsewhere. After we were served one drink, an employee claimed to know one of us and said that we were underage. The staff immediately believed her and stopped serving us alcohol. When asking for another drink, the bartender respectfully told us that she could not serve us because of this reason. I kindly told her to scan them as they were all valid IDs. Their system must not have been working as it said every single one of us had invalid IDs. The manager rudely accused me of having a fake ID, of which I pulled out my previous and expired ID to show her to compare. She ended up telling us that she was keeping them and refused to give them back, even with one of us driving back to her state tomorrow. I told her multiple times that I would call an officer to come down and run them to prove that they are valid so that we could simply take them home. She said she had to call HR, in which she told them "they are throwing a hissy fit" which is extremely unprofessional and rude, especially when she was so in the wrong. She ended up running the cards on a separate screen and they came up as valid. She allowed us to take them only after I had told her I was once again calling the police if she did not return them and then waited for us to apologize to her. I understand wanting to cover all bases, but she handled it extremely poorly and lost 3...

I order the same drink, the same way, every where I go. A titos and water, in a short glass with a lime. I ALWAYS say SHORT glass because I've been give tall glasess before when not specifying. I was in the restroom when Mariya dropped the drinks off. It was in a pint glass. My boyfriend told her it was wrong and he said she just stared at him after a quick back and forth. I arrived and confirmed that I in fact said a short glass. And insisted I said "small" which is why she confused it with "tall". Whatever, she brings me a new drink but this time it was in a Collins glass. At this point I'm over it and I ask for a high noon. When she asked what was wrong, I said you don't have a rocks glass? She said "yes, I can put it in a rocks glass, it's the same volume.... they in fact she not the same volume!!! Anyways, I tell her it's fine, I'll just take the high noons. She pick up the collins glass, makes a dumbfounded faces then rolls her eyes. Then our pizza comes out with cilantro on it when my boyfriend specifically asked for there not to be. As someone who has worked in this industry 10 years serving and bartending, I could NEVER imagine treating a...
