Ordered our food about 1pm through the app. Said it was going to be ready by 1:13pm. We went inside about 1:10pm and sat down. Waited about 10 minutes and decided to get our drinks.
It was a little busy because of the Sunday crowd but here's my complaint. We saw people at the counter that were ordering on the kiosk.
While my wife and I were sitting at our table, people were just getting done ordering at the kiosk and they got their drinks and sat down. More people came in and ordered from the kiosk.
We waited and waited and the kitchen kept calling everyone but us that their food was ready. After 30 minutes, I walked up to the kitchen and asked when my food would be ready. They asked me my name and looked on the screen. I then could here the manager say in the background, "why are we skipping over him?" She never came back to me, so I sat down. About 5 minutes later, she screamed from the kitchen, "is he still here?" I decided to scream back and say yes. A cook also acknowledged that I was still there. Three minutes later, she brought us our food with no "I'm sorry," or compensation.
My wife and I were hungry. When my wife opened her burger there were tomatoes on it and she asked for no tomatoes. The fries were super cold and tasteless. Like you just got them out of a freezer and deep fried them.
All in all, we waited 38 minutes from the time it was supposed to be ready before we got our food and it took us about 10 minutes to eat it as we were starved.
Probably not going back until they...
Read moreHow this place is still standing while better locations have gone belly-up is one of life’s great unsolved mysteries. Maybe they’ve struck a deal with the devil, or maybe it’s just the drive-thru keeping the lights on.
Credit where it’s due: the food was cooked properly, thanks entirely to the woman I assume was the general manager—she was behind the grill and fryers like a one-woman army, holding the whole operation together with sheer willpower. Honestly, she deserves hazard pay.
The trouble starts once the food leaves her hands. Methany, back on the sandwich station, was playing some sort of culinary roulette—skipping orders, losing toppings, and generally proving that quality control had left the building. Our table had two back-to-back order numbers; somehow one came out 20 minutes before the other, as if we’d ordered from two different restaurants in alternate timelines. Meanwhile, dine-in customers were treated like second-class citizens while the drive-thru got red-carpet service.
If you enjoy watching chaos unfold in real time—or if you simply love the thrill of gambling with your meal’s accuracy—this place is for you. Otherwise, do yourself a favor: steer clear and eat somewhere that doesn’t test your patience as part of the...
Read moreThe lobby was closed so I had no choice but to go through the drive thru. After sitting there for 5+ minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge my existence I was finally able to place my order. I then spent another 10+ minutes waiting to receive my order. I was the only person in line. After pulling away we realized that they forgot a part of the order. We then had to turn around and go through the drive thru line again. By the time we were able to eat the entire meal was cold. The sides of cheese tasted they were old. The chicken tenders were anything but tender. My child wouldn't even take a second bite of the grilled cheese and I once watched him go for a second bite of mud. The burgers were burnt and dryer the a bucket of sand from the desert. The fries were still frozen. Literally not a single bit of this experience was pleasurable. This review is from a couple who had their first date at this very same location and who's nostalgia may have blinded us from the decline of this restaurant during our monthly visit. We have gone from celebrating our anniversary here, to having settled on never eating at another steak n' shake again. I would like to end this by thanking the staff at this location. Thank you for ruining a special...
