This is a Tim Hortons / Coldstone Creamery location, so I'll be addressing both aspects of the business.
The Tim Horton's is one of their more abbreviated stops with smaller menus and fewer options. Not a huge problem, but it's definitely more of a coffee and donut stop as opposed the expanded sandwich stopover. The food is fine, nothing exemplary nor offensive. The coffee beverages are standard Horton's fare, again nothing particularly memorable.
The Coldstone is pretty good, they always have the selections in stock and are able to make all the specialty options.
Where this eatery gets hammered is in the staff they employ. Findlay is somewhat notorious for its poor quality service sector employees and that is borne out here. While the store appears fully staffed, even simple orders can take inordinately long to be filled. It's not unheard of for 5 minute waits for a bagel and coffee. The counter area is separated from the kitchen/drive thru area, and the majority of the employees prefer to remain in this closed off to the public section of the store. We know this because the chorus of voices emerging behind the doorway is substantial, yet there remain only two employees to staff the Hortons and the Coldstone counter.
Lastly, another star is lost because of the drive thru. It is poorly thought out and implemented, and I personally believe a simple matter of time before an accident occurs due to it's woeful...
Read moreMan, when I first moved to Findlay I was so excited to get coffee from here. I loved this place and it was amazing, but they hired in some new people and they do not know how to make coffee's. Plural. I used to come here and get a large 3x3, just coffee sugar and cream, easy. No it tasted like dirty water. I can't explain it. This has happened to me multiple times now and I finally gave up and stopped going. I went once more two days ago to treat myself. I thought they maybe would learn, but I asked specifically for a toasted cream cheese bagel. They repeated it back. It came to me not toasted. They slapped cream cheese to only one side, it was not toasted at all! I'm really not one to complain either, so I rarely leave a bad review, but this is people who are paying money for their coffee on their way to work. It's insane. And I asked for a cappuccino, my boyfriend got a milkshake, we asked for whipped cream but they literally only put a tiny drop of whipped cream on the top of the drinks. You know at starbucks when the whipped cream is pushing through the lid? Yesh thats what its supposed to be. And i asked for caramel, no caramel. It tasted so bad too I really dont know how you can mess that up. Just highly dissatisfied and disappointed. I will not be going back and...
Read moreUnfortunately did not have the best experience here. I have been here before and this is the first time it's been like this. I don't fault the workers, I do think this is sort of a staffing or delegation issue with management. I stopped here driving down the 75, I needed to have my last Iced Capp before I left the Tim Hortons range🤣. This place was busy because of the Coldstone attachment. However, no one was manning the Tim Hortons side because of the business on the Cold stone side? Again it is not the workers fault, they were severely overwhelmed and understaffed. I think there needs to be better staffing, especially in the summer when you expect there to be high traffic for the ice cream. When I was helped finally, the cashier was super friendly and sweet to me and she apologized. The quality of stuff I got was low though due to them being overwhelmed and rushing. Help them😭 Also, the construction or whatever is happening in the dining is not quite roped off helpfully, people are just unable to walk in properly and it is...
