Sephora employee about 6 feet tall is the reason this store gets 1 star. The attitude she carried and the scowl on her face need an adjustment. Her contour looked horrible. She didn't even give me a receipt because she KNEW I was going to write this review I'm almost positive. 𤣠Rewind to an hour ago. My bf and I enter the Sephora. No hi. No greeting. Nothing. He's looking for a bottle of perfume and I'm also looking for a gift for my mother as well. I found what she wanted. He popped up told me he's done because no associate ever asked if he needed help. On duty was a VERY tall woman and a shorter lady with her hair pulled back. Both were pleasant despite there being an issue with their "$ drop " for the day that I overheard. The shorter one fixing whatever issue and the taller one waiting on one person infront of me. I waited patiently. Between the requests for 3689 perfume samples and the hemming and hawing over a bday gift she couldn't get because it wasn't her dang birthday I had been there wayyyy too long. Almost 7 minutes ? I asked if I could take my item to another jc penny register while they made the bunch of samples. The Sasquatch had the nerve to tell me "when I am done with this transaction I can check you out " I had to tell miss thang I know how lines work I just need a more efficient employee. Then she asked if I was impatient....excuse me lil ugly? Ummm yeah after ten minutes of seeing people beg for samples because they don't own any full sized bottles is ridiculously insane to expect I wouldn't be impatient by this point,Plus my bf never got proper service and at this point neither did I. I got nasty attitude for a simple request because Sephora decided to hire a simpleton. Thank you so much đI'll also be calling corporate Sephora as well to notify them. I feel so sorry for anyone that has to...
Read moreDO NOT ORDER ONLINE FOR PICKUP - NIGHTMARE!!
I was looking for an item that my son wanted and thought I would try using the online in person pick option. On the website, it says to wait 2 hours for your order to be ready for pickup. I then arrived at the store 2 hours later. After waiting in a long line for 20 minutes, I was told that my order was not ready, and I needed to wait 4 hours. 4 hours??? For all that, I could have just come in without placing an actual order online!! While I was standing in line, I saw the item on the salesfloor. I then asked the service desk representative if I could just pick up the item so that she could mark it as fulfilled within the system. Bless her heart, she has worked there for 45 years, but clearly this store is not equipped to handle online pick-up orders effectively.
She informed me that I could not do that, and if I wanted the pickup order, I would need to wait until I received an email saying that the item was ready. If I wanted to purchase the item that I saw on the salesfloor, I could call back when the order was available to cancel the online order. So, I purchased the item.
Once I received an email that the order was ready, I called the store to cancel the order, and the store had no record of the order. 4 hours later, I called JCP.com customer service, and I was told that only the store could process the cancelation. When I called the store again, I was told that I had to come into the store so they could refund the money back to my card. However, I paid online using PayPal! This has been such a horrible experience from the very beginning! It should not be this difficult to pick up or get a refund...
Read moreI visited this location in the evening to pick up an online order, and the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. There were no signs anywhere indicating where to go for online pickups. I couldnât find any associates around, so I waited in line at the front cashier just to ask for help. When I finally got to the front, the cashier told me I needed to go upstairs to the home departmentâwhich is not at all intuitive, especially since I ordered clothing and the clothing department is downstairs. When I got upstairs, again, no signage for online orders. I went to the counter where a young man helped me pick up my order. However, he didnât mention that returns must also be handled upstairs. So after trying on the clothes and deciding to return them, I waited in line downstairsâagainâonly to be told I had to go back upstairs. Once back upstairs, I made a suggestion to the staff that they add clear signage for pickups and returns. Instead of taking the feedback, the older associate gave a dismissive apology and said âmost people just ask.â Thatâs exactly the problemâcustomers shouldnât have to ask. Itâs the storeâs responsibility to make the process clear. Weâre not employees and shouldn't have to guess or assume where things are located. To top it off, the air conditioning wasnât working well, and the store itself looked run-downâdefinitely not on par with other locations in the DMV area. I thought ordering online would be convenient, but this experience was a hassle. I wonât be returning to...
