So I dropped my PlayStation Five off to be fixed on a Thursday I was told it would be ready in 2 to 3 days, It took five days. Not only that, When I called on that fifth day, which was a Tuesday I was told I would have to come in the morning, which would be Wednesday morning. I didn’t get an explanation why until I asked “why is it not there?” And the response is yes, come in the morning. When I finally arrived the next day around 11 AM I was told I would Have to wait another 20 minutes in order to receive my PlayStation because the technician apparently had it in another location. After 30 minutes My PlayStation was finally there, but without the power cord. When I asked, I was told that the technician forgot to bring the power cord and was asked to come back the very next morning in which I explained to them I cannot do that because I do not have the transportation. He then tried to find me a replacement cord amongst a pile of tangled and bundled chords, they had in a box on the floor. I didn’t asked him the technician bring me my cord back since he dropped off the PlayStation. I was in told that the technician never brought it. It was sent via Uber as a parcel package and he cannot resend another one because he already spent $27. I will never do business with this place again I did get reimbursed, but after too much...
Read moreI came to Penn Mar Phone Repair two weeks ago to fix a cracked iPhone screen. At first, the experience seemed positive — the staff were friendly, and the technician even waived the taxes and added a free screen protector. During the repair, I noticed a message on my phone that said “unauthorized/unapproved Apple part used.” I asked about it, and the same technician who helped me today assured me that the part would work fine and that I had a one-month warranty if any issues came up.
Just three days later, the screen started lifting from the frame — no drops, no damage — clearly a poor installation. I could see the white light from the phone’s internals through the side. When I came back to get it fixed under the warranty I was promised, the same technician looked me in the eye and told me it would cost $120 to fix. His response was that the screen protector had wear and tear. No accountability. No professionalism. Just a lie.
I remained calm and professional, but it was clear that this business has no intention of standing by their work or their word. I’m now going directly to Apple to have it fixed properly.
Do not trust this place with your device. Unethical, unprofessional, and dishonest. Avoid...
