I couldn't have been more upset if she tried. I went in to order. The sandwich maker stops her conversation with customer to rudely asked me if I had a mask to cover my face. I didn't take it in because I wasn't going to be within 6 ft of anybody and can't breathe. Besides, they're doing more harm than good and people prefer to hang on to beliefs they believe empower them. So after I saw it wasn't in my purse and Ms Thang was waiting for me to put on, I got flustered and left. Sat in my car and AH HA!! I'll just order online and just go in and pick it up. So I did dad and it took a few minutes but I did it, went to the store and when I returned I had my mask on. The rude lady looked at me and asked if I had the online order. It was obvious she was in the middle of the second sandwich and asked me what I meant when I asked for the extras I did because the sandwich came with this that and the other thing and I didn't know so told her to disregard and just make it but could she toast it. Well you didn't indicate that on the order. I said so what? excuse me that I don't know how to push every little button on your website. It was obvious I wasn't too late and making that request because the sandwich only had meat and cheese on it. she was snotty with her co-worker who I felt bad for that is obviously intimidated by her and afraid to do her job or speak freely in fear of being treated worse than she probably already is. Read moreI don't recommend using their online app. The young workers here cannot read or understand directions. We ordered thru the app and put instructions on the order. They didn't understand the simple directions. They also didn't add the drink and chips we ordered, but we got charged for them. When we tried to call the store, they wouldn't answer the phone. I called several times the next day, but they never answered the phone. We contacted corporate and they had the district manager contact us. Then he had the store manager call us. She was not apologetic for the errors, blaming us for all the errors. She said it was our fault we didn't ask for the drink cup and pick out the bag of chips, even though it was an app order that they were supposed to have ready for pick up. She will give us our refund, but we have to drive all the way over there to get it, instead of her refunding it back to our credit card. While they were in the store an older gentleman without face cover came in and wanted service. The Subway person behind the counter suggested that he do something to cover his face or that they would provide something to cover his face. The older man became arrogant And demanded service. When the employee stated that he could not serve an unprotected customer, he stomped out of the store. I am 80 years old and like many people in the neighborhood of this store, I am concerned about the virus and its potential effect on my life. My grandchildren do everything they can to protect me.
