I chose this hotel because the reviews were decent and the price for dogs per night was reasonable. I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and many of them were just average...but almost always clean. That's my biggest issue with this hotel. As soon as I walked into the room, it smelled. Then I turned to the bathroom and there was hair all over the sink. The shelves above the sink were coated in dust, clearly never seeing a cleaning cloth in ages. The bathtub had hair and other stuff in it before we ever touched it. The toilet seat was dirty. The desk in the room and the bedside table had dirt and rings leftover from drinks, clearly never wiped down. Even the chairs were dirty. I was suspicious that they didn't clean the bedding, but I was honestly too tired to care. There was no hand soap in the entire room (we searched). The dispenser for hair products in the shower was broken, and the metal piece almost landed on my husband's foot. ||||I didn't really mind the wear on everything, including the walls and doors. I just care about cleanliness, and the things that weren't clean could have taken an extra 2 minutes to do. Instead, I had to wipe everything down before feeling comfortable using anything. I see a lot of reviews on hotels that I feel are too critical or are expecting too much... I honestly was disgusted by how dirty this room was. It was late when we got in, or I would have mentioned it to the front desk. We did mention the broken shower dispenser (to save someone else from getting hurt), and they offered 1,000 extra points. I appreciate the gesture.||||I also want to mention that there is no free breakfast (someone said there is in a different review), and the coffee was out of order when we were there. No insulation between rooms, so we got to listen to our neighbor's TV and music like they were staying with us. Once again, wouldn't have cared about all this other stuff if the room was just clean!||||I recommend staying elsewhere, even if you have to pay a little more. The Comfort Inn nearby looked really nice, and is located in a better area.||||I don't want to leave this review though without mentioning a few positives:||- beds were comfortable||- kitchenette was useful and the stove worked well||- I liked the ample size of the desk for eating||- the lady at the front desk seemed nice when...

Read moreUnfortunately, I have always bragged about this brand of hotel. I chose this hotel for our team to stay at. They are always on point.
After the trickery of saying we were upgraded from two queens to a king with a pull out suite. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke as if I smoked a carton of cigarettes and partied all night in Las Vegas. We spoke to four different people about the issue and no one seemed to care except poor Robert who at least listened to us. I have asthma and the stench was trapped in my lungs. I was determined to clean the bathroom myself to get rid of the smell so my two daughters and Husband could at least bare it since we could not move rooms and all hotels were booked. I discovered that the towels were not exchanged from the person before us. I washed my face and grabbed a "clean" towel to dry my face off.I discovered the towels were saturated with the smoke as if the smoker blew the smoke into the towels to mask the smell. I rushed downstairs to the desk and gave them our towels as he made a face and agreed they smelled terribly. Upon check out my husband and I asked the manager to walk to our room to smell the room and how we were not being dramatic about it. Her rebuttal was "no, I have to watch everything." Another employee at the front desk said smiled to her. She looked at me and said "So, do I charge your same card on file?" Are you kidding me. My husband kept me calm. She did not care at all. We still had a full day and stunk all day. My new car smelled like a bar after we packed up into it. We also had a 2hr drive home and smelled like we partied all night. I threw all of our clothes and duffles straight in the laundry even if we did not wear it. It was saturated with cigarette smoke. Our main thing is NO ONE CLEANED THE BATHROOM THEY LEFT DIRTY TOWELS IN OUR BATHROOM Made us worry what other corners are they cutting. Our room was not...
