We’ve been to Salad and Go plenty of times before and this morning thought we would try their breakfast. We placed a mobile order and also ordered 2 salads for dinner later. When we arrived, I gave them our name for the mobile order and the attendant told us to pull up to the window. After waiting in the drive-thru, a guy asked us if we wouldn’t mind pulling around to their mobile pick-up window. I thought this was a little silly given that the order had said it was ready on the mobile app and there was nobody behind us in the regular line. Because I can follow simple instructions however, I did what I was asked and proceeded to the mobile order pick-up window where I waited behind another vehicle. After having waited an additional 5 minutes, the window finally opened and this guy threw the bag at me without an apology or anything. Then I drove all the way home just to realize he forgot to put dressing in one of the salads. I’m not sure how this can happen seeing as how it’s SALAD and dressing is a main component, but obviously something/someone at this store needs help. I shouldn’t have to drive another 40 minutes round trip for a salad dressing packet and without a doubt receive no apology. I realize it’s my choice not to go make it right for ourselves but how hard can it be to put dressing in a salad? They’ve also forgotten forks before too. The salads are good when they’re full but even that is difficult to do sometimes. Also, worst of all, they got rid of the Caprese Salad which in my opinion (and a lot of other people I’ve talked to) was the best one, all because the mozzarella balls were getting too expensive. So charge a little more? Disappointing.
Update: this just got even worse. Just opened my salad for dinner (the one WITH the dressing) and found a black hair in it, same color and length that the gentleman who served us today had rendering it completely and utterly useless. Absolutely disgusting. I had 3 stars for fairness considering we’ve been here plenty of times before but I just can’t keep it average when this is beyond unacceptable. 2 stars today is...
Read moreI have ordered from various locations. However, my two most recent experiences at this particular location has left me disappointed and frustrated. Despite placing orders through the app and clearly indicating the desired dressing for my wraps, the last two orders were either completely incorrect or lacked the dressing I had specifically requested.
As a conscientious consumer, I even double-checked my order the second time around, but it was still wrong. While I understand that mistakes can happen, it's frustrating when they occur repeatedly, especially when I am a loyal customer.
I hope that the management of this location takes the necessary steps to address these ongoing issues and ensure that the orders are correct. As much as I would love to continue to support this location, I cannot justify doing so if the orders are continually wrong.
I appreciate the potential this location has to offer and am hopeful that they will resolve these concerns promptly to regain my trust...
Read moreHonestly, the only thing that I can relate "Salad and go" to is the football analogy of a cornerback or safety intercepting a pass, taking it to the house and fumbling the ball out of the end zone for a Touchback. The portions are huge here and the salads are flavorful. The cucumber mint aqua fresca for $1 is insanely cheap and delicious! The prices are very reasonable for a 2-day salad, but here is where the concept went off the rails. Why do you have an amazing healthy salad and then add fatty dressings filled with saturated fats, oils and unhealthy ingredients. You can go to McDonalds and Wendy's to get these salads. The Caesar dressing is loaded with fat! The Peanut dressing was so laced with oil and it made me throw up after eating it and my blood pressure went through the roof. Great concept with great prices, but do yourself a favor and skip the dressing gs there and go get your own personal and healthier ones at...
