We stayed at unit 214 which is an end unit. It has slope side views of the lift and the pools at the Grand Colorado, but it is tucked enough a way to not hear the ski CATS at night. The living room and eat in kitchen were large and the kitchen was fully stocked. The owners have a kids' bedroom that is decorated a super hero theme for males and females. The living room has a massive sofa and a newer TV to support streaming. We all sat comfortably and did not have to maneuver around each other. The master has a king bed (we spoke to other guests wherein the master did not have a king and/or was not private). There was a ton of space to hang up coats, gloves etc. We used the boot dryers and warmers when our clothes got wet. The outdoor hot tub is dated, so be aware of that. The unit is entry level from the garage and a flat walk out to the slopes with probably 4 steps down. It is actually ski in and ski out. Ski straight down to the Rocky Mnt. lift or the other on peak 8 and up yo go on the lift only to ski home for sandwiches and hot beverages. We also were given a locker for the skis. You can tell this place is well cared for. Nothing was old and/or...
Read moreReally loved staying here. We had a 4th floor unit, facing the ski lifts. It was too cold to sit out there much but you could enjoy the view from the windows. Parking underneath is a bit tight for trucks but we made it work. Our unit had 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a loft. Great amount of room for 6 people. Could have fit more, but glad we didn't have to. It's wonderful to have a full kitchen so we could eat in at times. Loved the gas fireplace. Comfy furniture and beds. I don't know if every condo uses the same bedding but the sheets were extremely loud! You'd hear every little toss and turn like paper being crinkled. The view was constantly changing depending on time of day or snow conditions and it made it so nice to be inside and just watch. The Jaccuzi was a nice touch too. (outside in the snow). The 4th floor has a nice common room we would have used for playing games as a family on a bigger table since the unit only had a counter top to eat at etc. But you had to wear a face mask even if it was just your family. So we certainly weren't going to enjoy playing...
Read moreExcellent all the way around. We stayed in 109, which is an end unit on the first floor. It is larger than units that are not on the end. The rooms were large, the entire place was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you'd need to cook a meal on vacation, the wifi was fast with a good signal all over the unit, and they provided plenty of towels. The location absolutely cannot be beat - truly ski-in/ski-out, with ski lockers conveniently located slopeside.|Now for the not-so-great stuff: The bathrooms in 109 are kind of small and out of proportion to the size of the other rooms in the condo. The building is at the top of a steep hill, and my front-wheel drive rental minivan had trouble reaching the top when there was snow on the road. I had to back down, get up some speed, and take a run at it. If you're going in winter, I would suggest getting a 4 wheel drive rental. Otherwise, this place is...
