Everything about this restaurant was amazing! Several members of our party have food allergies and they were easily able to accommodate them. Everything was delicious and the desserts were the perfect finish. The view as immaculate, we were able to see miles out over the mountain. We were able to play corn hole and shuffleboard in the nice outdoor area while we waited for our food. They turned on the heaters for us, as we are not used to the cooler temperatures (being from Florida). Our food came quickly and the portions were larger than expected! Veta is an incredible server. She was very friendly, attentive, and helpful! Overall, we were super impressed with everything! Pictured: Pulled Pork Sandwich with GF Bun and Sweet Potato Tots

A great new take on a classic location. Bar Down has seized on the opportunity to take back from the former Vail robber barons the prime spot at Grand Lodge on Peak 7. They cut prices in half and now offer food people actually want. The setting is just the right amount of formal with linen napkins and great rustic-modern décor. The mushroom pizza is awesome to snack on while relaxing at the hotel. The chicken sandwich has great flavor, and the bleu cheese is made in-house. The steaks also have a perfect hint of salt and are very succulent; but are consistently over-cooked. Insist when you order rare, you want rare. I am excited for this new resident on the mountain, and will be back, hungry.

Stopped for lunch on a Sunday. Bri was our server and did an excellent job! Live music playing on the patio. Food was great with one exception, the pork belly in the lettuce wraps was very salty, but overall good! Everything else was fantastic! As owners at the property it was enjoyable!

My husband and I own on Peak 7 and Peak 8. We stayed at Peak 8 this trip and decided to walk over on our last day to have lunch. We didn't know Sevens had closed so we were excited to try the new spot for Peak 7. We got the Margherita pizza, wings, chilli and a salad. The pizza was good, crust was on point. Wings weren't really "dry" as the menu stated and they still had the chicken hair on them, which is kind of gross. Flavor wasn't bad.. the chilli was good as well. Nothing to write home about but not bad by any means. The salad was perfection.. veggies were nice and fresh. So food was the 3-4 star review but service was great! Gabe took great...
