This hotel is top notch! Pros Amazing and friendly customer service..from the wait staff to the hotel staff to the ski valet guys..everyone was so so awesome and accommodating! Rooms were spacious with great lay out. We stayed in one bedroom with our 8yo and 11 yo and were cozy and fine with one kiddo on pull out sofa and the other on a very comfortable cot provided for free by hotel. Bathrooms were spacious and plenty of space to unpack everyone’s clothing. Beautiful views of the mountains! Beds were also very comfortable.
Pool and hot tubs are amazing!!! They have out door hot tub that is so cool to be able to sit in while it snows and look at the beautiful mountains. Our kiddos also really enjoyed the indoor play pool and pool. It was wonderful to finish each day of skiing relaxing here! Free of charge breakfast buffet!!! This was a winner!! Food selection was outstanding..a little something for everyone..fruit, oatmeal with all the toppings, yogurt, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, eggs, breakfast sandwiches..you name it! They also provided to go containers to take back to your room. Bowling!!! So so cool! They have a two lane bowling alley that is so unique that you can reserve for free for an hour each night. Shuttle service! The hotel provides a free shuttle and there is a BMMA app they educate you about when you get there that is awesome! We used this every night to get downtown …free of charge. Never had to wait more than 15 minutes! Super friendly drivers! Free ski valet! This was so so convenient! To be able to just pickup and drop off skis and poles before and after right off the slopes was such a nice amenity ! These guys were also so nice and friendly! 5-8 min shuttle ride down to the city is so awesome too! This place is central to everything! It was easy to grab the shuttle and get downtown for a yummy dinner at many different restaurants! The staff also was great at giving recs on where to go. Great room service. They provide this every other day and do a great job at cleaning up the room. Last but not least! The skiing!! Being able to ski in /ski out to Breck is out of this world. Top notch absolutely amazing skiing!!!
Cons: Not many that is for sure.. No grocery/mini store onsite. They do have one small area to the right of checkin but it is very limited. Would be nice to have a little market to buy items for room. The only grocery around is downtown. TVs are not smart tvs. This really is minor inconvenience as we were not in our room much but we do like to end day with a family movie as we have grown accustomed to at other hotels…by adding in our own username/password for Netflix/prime etc. Their TVs are not set up for this. Cashless site..remember to always have card on you..except tips! Bring cash with you from home or get cash when you go to town so you can have singles/fives/tens to tip ski valet and shuttle drivers. Can’t get cash for tips anywhere on...
Read moreThis place has so much potential! If only it was cared for. The location is 5 stars. Ski-in-ski-out is exactly what this place is and the location to the lifts couldn’t be better. The location to town is also great. There is a gondola that takes 13 minutes to get you to town and it’s a beautiful ride. Breckenridge town is fantastic with lots of shopping, food, drinks and the people are great.
We booked using SnowPak. Super easy online. It included a 4 day Epic pass for the mountain. Epic is a disaster of a company to deal with and the hotel here has no input with them. SnowPak, Epic, and the resort all have zero customer service ability as it is all outsourced outside of the US.
Check in was ok. There are many people that work there that seem like they are on holiday from Europe. This is great in that is adds to the diversity, however, when English is a 2nd or 3rd language, it can make communication difficult. They quickly explain a shuttle service that work kind of like Uber except there is one driver, that may or may not be using a different shuttle to take people places that tis not on the app. So, all in all, it’s a waste to try to use it. We ended up using Uber. The gondola that takes you to town was not mentioned at check-in and should have been. The exercise room is by the indoor pool. The pool area opens at 6am, but the exercise room, not till 7:30. The exercise room is poor also due to outdated equipment. They guys that handle the ski storage were exceptional!
The room we were in was a 3 bedroom. The beds were older and not comfortable. The sink in the kitchen had a broken piece. The refrigerator purified water would not work. The coffee machine was terrible and gross. The furniture was worn. There was ZERO water pressure.
The restaurants were ok if you are comparing to a mountain snack bar, which, I guess is what they are. They did have plenty of alcohol available by means of multiple bars. Breakfast was poor but included and convenient.
Would we stay here again? Yes. We would just have proper expectations. I understand the world is still recovering from the great resignation period of the last couple of years so I continued to tip as if this were a 5 star resort. "Be kind to those that...
Read moreI went skiing out west for the first time with my wife and 3 young kids. I could not have picked a better place. The quality of the service provided from all hotel personnel was excellent. The room was a 2 bedroom suite facing the hill and I am not sure if it could have been cleaner. It had everything you needed. The ski valet guys made the skiing a breeze. You can call down to them and they will have everything sitting out with the poles in the snow facing in the right direction. COOL! Very friendly bunch of guys. They were also very knowledgable about the ski hill and can give advice about where to go for the level you ski. The bowling alley was great! My kids would have done that everyday if they could have. You need to book it early though. It is very popular. They have heated parking under the hotel. It was a huge convenience. The only knock on it was that it is pretty tight down there. The concierge was very knowledgeable and very helpful. We have food allergies in the family and the concierge actually researched and found places for us to go. The pool and workout facility were very nice as well. They have a gondola that will take you within a block of downtown Breckenridge. They also have a shuttle service that will pick you up at the front door and drop you off downtown. You don't need a car once you are there. The ski school is located directly behind the resort and is very convenient. They held our kids skis right there for the next day. Sweet! No toting them back and forth. I am going to definitely go back to this place...
