Customer service is not their strong suit! We had a group of over 20 and we all had the Epic Discovery Pass. The group was especially excited to experience the Gold Runner Coaster and we were disappointed to learn after picking up our tickets that the coaster was closed that day for maintenance. Had we known in advance that the coaster was going to be closed we would have chose to visit the park on a different day. After learning the coaster was closed we talked to one of the sales agents who told us that if it remained closed for the rest of the day that we could come by the sales office at the end of the day to get a single ride ticket for the coaster for the next day. At the end of the day I went by the sales office to ask about getting single tickets for the coaster for the next day and the agent was very rude, provided no customer service, and told me he wouldn’t give us anything. It is very disappointing that one employee told us one thing and another employee told us something else. We have spent thousands of dollars at this resorts and I don’t think it’s much to ask for a single ride ticket for one activity that we were not informed would be closed for maintenance. The lines for most of the lines for the other activities were at least 60 min long a result of the coaster being closed. We normally visit the park multiple times each summer and the experience has been increasingly disappointing in recent years. For anyone thinking about visiting the park, there are plenty of other activities in the Breck area that are less expensive and that you won’t have to wait in hour...
Read moreMany activities to choose from unfortunately a few of them, the ones we would have probably enjoyed more were closed.
We purchased a package that included the scenic chair lift and 3 other activities as it was the same price as doing just the scenic chair lift and the Goldrunner Coaster. The package was a better value.
We weren't as impressed with the Goldrunner coaster as we thought we would be, and didn't care for the other activities, but definitely enjoyed and highly recommended a ride on the scenic chair lift. We did that twice. There is a tower at the top (and a few activities ) that has a spectacular view. It got really cold and windy towards the top so dress warm or bring a jacket. The views are outstanding.
The staff near the waivers tables seemed to be entirely too busy talking amongst themselves to even acknowledge guests. Basically had to interrupt their conversations to ask any questions. That was a bit disappointing. The staff manning the activities were friendly and thorough with their instructions.
I also noticed the online pricing is not what it is at the ticket counter (it's higher at the ticket counter) so expect a possible difference there.
Meh. Probably a great place for a family or young ones or if you're into mini golf, rock wall and the other activity options. Could go either way for you, give a GO...
Read moreCustomer service is not their focus. The passes are very expensive to begin with and in the event of thunderstorms the park closes for a minimum of 30 minutes. they have rain check posted all over the place but you need to read the fine print on the policy. We bought an unlimited pass for one adult and one child. We got there at 9:30 when the park opens and did some of the rides. At 1:30 thunderstorms rolled in and the park shut down. We waited until 3pm and the park was still closed so we asked about getting a rain check. Well according to their policy, if you do 7 attractions you have received the "full value" of your unlimited pass. That could be one attraction 7 times or 7 attractions one time, doesn't matter. You have used the full value of your pass. For a pass that cost upwards of $80 per adult, 7 times does not seem to be getting full value. At an average cost of over $10 per ride, that is very little value to me. And good luck trying to talk to anyone about it. They have their policy and they strictly enforce it. They have your money and as long as you used the pass 7 times, you won't be getting any of your money back. I do not think it is worth the money with all the other amazing things to do in the area, many of which are free. We won't be going back and will be recommending friends find...
