The Wood Creek Lodge by Crested Butte Lodging — Hotel in Four Corners States

We stayed 3 nights in unit #202 rented through Crested Butte Property Management Company. This condo complex is located on Mt. Crested Butte, which is a short drive or bus ride to town and close to the ski resorts on the mountain. We were very happy with this property and our unit. You can access the floors with an elevator and there are luggage carts available to use. There's also a nice fire pit area, grill, and hot tub, though we didn't have a chance to use any of those amenities.||The keyless entry and check in/check out process were streamlined and easy to use. We had amazing view of the peaks from our condo balcony. The only thing I would have for our specific unit is that the living room seating is very uncomfortable. The reclining armchair is so low to the ground, it's hard to get into and out of. The couch, while beautiful, is so uncomfortable because the back is very short and doesn't provide any back support. My advice to the owners of this specific unit is to invest in a less "modern" looking couch that provides more support and is fluffier/softer since comfort...

Woodcreek is used as the bait and switch lesser property when you book the Plaza Condo resort on all major travel sites. Your reservation says plaza and then they switch you at the plaza front desk to Woodcreek. It's a sleazy, deceptive sales tactic, taking advantage of people. Woodcreek itself is a 40+ year old building in poor condition, with terribly dirty and dated rooms. For instance, the fridge was broken, so instead of replacing it, they simply put another one right in the living room, where you sit, and took up 1/2 the LR and you were forced to sleep near the fridge exhaust all night. The bedroom still had a VHS player for god sakes. Bathroom had mold, the shower ceiling was falling while using. Stains on couch cushions, cigarette burns on comforter. Just a truly...

I stayed in a room with three bedrooms. They have harder mattresses but I enjoyed them. The room had everything I would need for a week stay. The views from the Lodge were very beautiful. The free town shuttle bus stopped by the lodge so it was very convenient for getting to town. The hot tub was closed the entire time but we didn't mind because there was so much to do and see...
