WellHome Parkside Vacation Home at Windsor Hills Resort — Hotel in Four Corners

Our family recently had the opportunity to vacation in this home and it was FABULOUS! We were hesitant to spend the extra money for a private house versus something smaller, but it was worth every penny! We’ve never vacationed or lived in a place with a private pool and it was a game changer. As much as we enjoyed the water park/community pool (and appreciated how close of a walk it was) we actually spent more time in our private pool. Note: having a 2 year old my wife was very nervous about having a pool BUT because of the safety/alarm system we never had to worry about the 2 year old getting out without us knowing. That helped alleviate a lot of stress.

Beyond just being a spacious house (5 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom), it was evident the owners went above and beyond with attention to details to make the experience even more enjoyable/set it apart from others in the resort. Some examples include but are not limited to: lights around the back yard that are solar powered which give a nice ambiance in the evenings, one of the master bedrooms was extended making it more spacious, one of the bedrooms has an extensive pirate theme that our boys loved, the garage has been converted into a game room (with AC) that has pool & air hockey (for free), a game closet is available to rent board games & other items (we were happy to play Catan), a whole beach kit (chairs, wagon, towels), and the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware, a blender, multiple means of making coffee, etc.

Another aspect of this house that we loved was because of it’s location we didn’t have anybody behind us. Walking around the neighborhood and seeing the many houses backed up to one another we realized what a nice extra benefit this was.

Imagine planning your Orlando vacation for your daughter's cheer comp, then your son breaks his leg, and is in a full leg cast. That was us. So immediately our housing plans changed. We needed a house with an accessible first floor bedroom and bathroom. Mark and Erin's home was our perfect match! Their communication was incredible and as a stressed out Mama, I was asking a ton of questions! As a Realtor for 19 years, I scrolled thru every picture, and read the details... From the moment we unlocked the front door we knew this home had every detail planned. The bright, spacious foyer was just the right space for all our shoes and hooks for our bags. The kitchen, while not overly large was just the perfect space for all my cooking. The drawers and cabinets were well stocked too! The dining room was fabulous for our family of 6 to eat in and still had space to move around! The living room has comfy furniture and a beautiful view to the pool/patio area! Two primary suites, and a pirate themed bedroom with bathroom and an amazing game room complete the first floor. The game room has the right amount of fun items to keep you busy for days! I personally loved that the washer and dryer were in there too, to get that job done while playing with my kiddos! Upstairs you'll find two additional bedrooms with bathrooms! The towels and linens were a super nice bonus, one less thing to pack or rent. The pool was delightful! The perfect temp, with clear water. The hot tub was a nightly treat after walking so much all day! A charcoal grill was an awesome touch! This is a beautiful well maintained home, located close to the community clubhouse. This is a beautiful home! The home we booked was cancelled at the last minute and when I reached out to see if anyone had availability, this family worked with us to save our trip! The pool and hot tub were perfect for our family and our kids spent more time in this pool than the main pool. It’s a short 3 minute walk from the clubhouse and water park and a 5 minute walk to the closest playground. The furniture and home decor are wonderful. In addition to having plenty of linens and towels, they also provided several beach towels and a “to go” cart with lawn chairs, beach toys, and shade, which would be perfect for any family traveling to the beach. The home also includes scooters, helmets, and recreation equipment for a minimal rental fee. For those, like myself, who may need to work remotely while on vacation, the home has two office tables, one upstairs and one downstairs. It was nice to be able to work upstairs while my family enjoyed the pool without them having to try and keep quiet. The communication with the owners was fantastic! They are incredibly flexible and accommodating, answered all of our questions, and reached out after we checked in to see how things were. We felt completely at home here and would absolutely recommend this house to anyone who is looking to stay at...
