I was using the EV chargers right across the road, and needed to use the restroom so I went inside to ask if I could. This lobby was in closer proximity to the chargers than the lobby of the hotel parking lot the chargers were in. When I came in the woman at the front desk asked how she could help me and while I explained that I was using the chargers right outside and was wondering if I could use the restroom, she looked me up and down, with this really critical look ( is it because I’m wearing sweatpants? And not wearing makeup? what gives?) and she replies with “they don’t let you use the restroom at YOUR hotel?” I explained that no, I was just charging there, I wasn’t staying there. Then she said “Ok then, why aren’t you using the restroom of the hotel where you are parked?” I knew I wasn’t welcome at that point so I quickly said “your place is closer I’ll leave sorry” and left, she didn’t say anything more. I’m have the privilege of really never running into antagonistic nonverbal communication like this. So this treatment, though I am not a guest yet and it’s just one aspect of their entire operation, left me feeling insecure and never more unwelcome, and led me to think it was the way I looked (?) that made me unwelcome there. and boy howdy, that bummed me out

Had issues checking in due to an ID that was a few days expired and I hadnt realized it, even though I had other IDs, and clearly my Identity has not changed. Had to rebook for higher rates. Should have taken that as a sign and booked elsewhere. Hotel is old and needs updated. Room smelled like old carpet and dirty vacuum. I actually checked for bed bugs just in case. The toilet was so small, when pooping I had to use a towel for my penis, as otherwise it would be pressed up against the front of the porcelain bowl and the underside of the toilet seat. Absolutely DISGUSTING. The toilet paper is like sandpaper too. Itll definitely take care of any Hemerrhoids you might have. Lol Feels and smells like a 2 star Hotel at best, so It got a 2 star rating. Rooms were not cheap either!! Probably better off going Hilton or Mariott here.

Stayed for the two cities marathon. Made my reservation online through IHG and the room was $143.10 and tax was $79.32 for A total of $222.42. I was put on 4th floor right by the freeway and had noise all night long. I am a member of their loyalty program and could not believe there are no benefits to that. When checking in, they took an additional $100 for incidentals. Now they do not have a bar, no restaurant, the laundry is coin operated and there is no swimming pool. I don't understand what incidentals. When checking out, I was given a receipt for $135.40. When I asked about these discrepancies, they said I agreed to pay the $222.42 and my incidentals charge would be returned in 3-5 days. It's been 5 and still no return. I will not be returning and this has made me re-think using IHG and Holiday Inn.

The staff at this location - Fresno River Pkwy HWY 41- was superb. My visit was stressful and they were so very helpful with questions and especially directions as I was not at all familiar with this location - never been to Fresno. They were very attentive and with an attitude that didn't seem like I was upsetting their day - I've been to hotels with that experience - feeling like I was a daily inconvenience. But not here, both the day and night desk staff were exceptionally helpful and it was greatly appreciated.

The room was clean, which is one of my pet peeves. I really appreciated the amenities of small kitchen area (sink, beverage maker - coffee/or tea, and the small refrigerator in the room as many hotels/motels seem to be doing away with these amenities). It was especially nice to have a room with proportional furniture; another one of my pet peeves. Finally a hotel that has workable furniture in the room that doesn't take up all of the walking space.

Two cons: 1) I would like to see them shampoo the carpets more or invest in better vacuum cleaners. 2) Many hotels, as in THE Santa Barbara area, communicate how linens are dealt with via a room card. That would be very helpful. I wasn't staying long; so I had to communicate with the front desk in regard to the linen changes (i.e. bed sheets, which I didn't feel was necessary to change each day as my stay was not long. Towels were naturally changed each day). This could have been more easily communicated with a room card as to the hotels policy regarding bed linens.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this area. There are two very nice eateries (Soup Plantation & I-Hop) within walking distance and the major strip malls are within reasonable driving from the hotel; however, because I was unfamiliar with the area, be aware that there are a lot of angle streets so it's easy to get turned around. This is where staff really shine; they are more than willing to give you a Google map if you request it or relatively easy verbal directions if you ask.

Enjoy your stay if you should stay at this hotel and in this area. It is a nice place to visit for leisure if you love to shop. If on business, the hotel makes your stay very pleasant with a good staff with a...

Subject: Urgent Concern from a Dissatisfied Diamond Elite Member – Unsanitary Conditions||I am writing as a Diamond Elite member to formally express my deep dissatisfaction following a recent stay at your property. I booked our room with the understanding that it would meet the standards and expectations aligned with my loyalty status and the hotel’s advertised quality. Unfortunately, this experience was far below acceptable.||The condition of the flooring throughout the property, and especially in our room, was truly unacceptable. My infant, who naturally spends a great deal of time crawling, was exposed to carpets that were visibly dirty and unhygienic. Within just 10 minutes, my baby’s clothes were noticeably soiled from the dirt and grime embedded in the carpet — a concerning and unacceptable reality for any guest, let alone one with a small child.||My husband mentioned our concerns to the front desk at the time, but unfortunately, no meaningful resolution was offered.||The general cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel suggest it primarily serves ground workers, which I fully respect — however, it does not excuse the lack of proper sanitation and hygiene for all guests. As a family traveling with an infant, we expected clean and safe accommodations, and this situation has left us feeling both disappointed and misled.||I also inquired about washers and dryers to clean our baby’s soiled clothes but was met with limited support. For a hotel of this caliber, especially with Diamond Elite members among its guests, such basic amenities and standards of cleanliness should not be lacking.||This experience has caused me to seriously reconsider future bookings at your property and potentially with your brand if such issues are not addressed.||I trust you will take this feedback seriously and respond with appropriate action or compensation for this unfortunate...

Several hotels in the area of this hotel. Check in was a fairly long wait as the girl at the front desk seemed to be typing an essay on the computer. Then went back to a file and pulled a piece of pre printed paper with all my info and room number etc. so what the heck were you typing. I had not handed you my if yet. I had just given you my name. Maybe it’s the mask but the front desk person was not friendly at all. Maybe I just didn’t else your smile behind the mask. Our room was good. We were on the side away from the highway. So fairly quiet. Beds comfortable and adequate for our stay. Ac worked well. Could not find the sleep timer on the tv so that was annoying. Fridge worked well. And didn’t use the microwave but it was there. Breakfast was typical of this type of hotel. Nothing fancy. The pancake machine was neat. Plenty of coffee. But when my son poured milk on his cereal it came out of the carton in clumps! Pretty gross. The dining area/hangout area/lobby of this hotel had no AC in this room so in the morning it was around 81-82 degrees. At night after being in 105 plus degree temps. The room was 85 degrees. Very unbearable and prevented us from hanging out and haveing a few drinks. Staff was alerted and the brought us an oscillating fan. Probably one of the hottest weekends this summer and a sold out hotel and there’s an AC issue! Not good. Pool closed early. Homeless guys in the bushes behind the pool and Pot Smokers walking around adjacent to the pool. Very close to the highway. Probably the closest of all the hotels there to the highway hence the homeless and the pit smokers hanging out there. Car was safe I believe No body touched it as far as I know it was a rental. Now that I am familiar with the area I will probably stay at one of the other places away...
