I booked this place through Amex travel. It has great recommendations and the photos looked great. It was all a lie. As I exited the freeway I instantly noticed that the area is horrible! It was not an even remotely average neighborhood!!!
I pull into the hotel and there is almost no parking. Michelle checked me in and she was actually very nice! I start waking down the hallway and see stains on walls and the carpet. I get into the room and it just smelled of marijuana and the carpet was stained. I end up passing out right away as I was tired from my travels.
I’m then woken up at 3am as the smoke alarm in my room was beeping. I attempted to call the front desk but the phone in my room didn’t work. I called from my cell phone and the guy at the front desk said maintenance doesn’t come in until 10am so there is nothing he can do. I said am I supposed to try and sleep with this beeping all morning? Then with an attitude he said come to the desk and he will switch rooms.
I walk to the desk and he said you’re in a kind suite but there’s nothing left so I was downgraded to a 2 queen bedroom. He didn’t care at all!!!
So I move all my stuff now at 3:30am and get to my next room. It was so musty in there I couldn’t believe it. The AC was super loud and it was hard to sleep. Sucks to think I still have another night in this room that is non refundable!

Read moreIf you’ve stayed at one Choice Hotels brand hotel, you’ve stayed at most. So instead of a review, here are the positives and negatives of this one. Positives: affordable, the rooms and hotel itself is cleaner than avg. free parking and a free (but overly simple) breakfast.
Negatives: the neighborhood is bad, really bad, scary bad. From people having parking lot parties in the middle of the night, homeless and drug pushers and users walking around and onto the property, etc. as you approach the hotel you will see this is NOT the area you want to leave the room to explore. Not exactly ideal for families with young children. Also there is no elevator. Yes 2024, and no elevator. While this might seem like a small inconvenience, if you have a lot of luggage, this is going to be a pain in the a**. The in-room amenities are cheap and few. The basic shampoo and soap that you only want to use if you have no other option, and in room coffee that would make gas station coffee taste like a professional French roast.
Overall, if you’re traveling alone, and for a short stay? Maybe. It’s cheap and clean. For couples, families, long stays? Cannot recommend...
Read moreHORRIBLE UNMANNERED AND RUDE staff, Pumam, Nick and Kimberly were the most unprofessional people I've dealt with. Unsatisfied with the service we requested a refund with in 2 hours of our arrival. Pumam said we had been there over 2 hrs. And therefore the refund was denied. As I continue to ask her to clarify to me she threaten to call the police. The police were not called but I was under the impression that they were on their way per her earlier words. We ended up leaving the hotel on our own will. The next day we called again and we spoke with Kim who said she had hear Punam's side if the story and she was siding with her. I was then advised to call Nick who is out if town but takes my call while he's chewing on his food and has a tone of voice as if he didn't want to hear me. Because he too is going to denied my refund. Calling corporate was no help. Finally my bank stepped up and disputed the transaction. To anyone looking for customer service keep your money and go else where. To the people in charge know that what you're doing is wrong and I will seek legal action for the harassment and...
