We recently moved to the Shaw & 99 area and have been looking for a spot with delicious Mexican food. The first time we tried Guisados Greicy was after seeing a TikTok, and wow, it felt like everyone else had seen it too! It was super busy, the wait was a bit long, and while the food was good, we left it at that.

Fast forward to recently, on our way home we decided to give it another try now that things have slowed down, and OMG, they did not disappoint this time! The service was phenomenal. The last time I had the asada gordita, but this time Alma helped me out with the guisados. I went with papas and chorizo (her favorite too!) and paired it with a Jamaica agua fresca. The food came out quickly, fresh, and so flavorful. The Jamaica tasted completely authentic, not artificial at all, like they steeped the hibiscus themselves. And the papas and chorizo gordita? Hands down the BEST I’ve ever had.

Alma was so kind and even introduced us to their salsa lineup based on spice level and preference. That personal touch really stood out. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will definitely be coming back and telling...

Heard a lot good things and looked forward to my visit. Presentation is great. Nice plating and colors is very appealing. I ordered four separate tacos; Asada, Tripas, Shrimp and Al Pastor. Just before my order came they said they were out of Al Pastor, so I asked for Chorizo in its place. The tacos looked great but the tortillas were dry and stale. The meats were hardly hot. The Chorizo was lukewarm at best and not very flavorful. The Asada was mealy and again, lacked flavor. The Tripas were very chewy and not crispy at all. There was a lot of shrimp in taco and this taco was the best out of the four. But not great. Instead of Guacamole the provided slices of Avocado but they were hard and not ripe.

I saw a lot of people ordering the Gorditas and they looked very good. I just wanted a variety of tacos is all. A friend ordered the Costillos (short ribs) with beans and rice. Again, looked good, but the beans and rice were bland and there was hardly any meat. The tortillas again were stale. The meat was okay.

I did take an Asada Torta to go. It tasted better than the tacos, but not...

Mi Gente, Mi Gente, do you want to try some delicious homemade style cooking? Stop by Guisados Greicy and you won’t be disappointed! Really delicious, highly suggest to follow them on social media to check and see if they will be catering an event; we were some of the last customers for the early lunch hour afternoon. They close and reopen later on at night to take advantage of all the night owls and club goers. If they are catering in the day, they might have all their items available to order. Really wanted to try their Micohcan Enchiladas but they were sold out due to their catering gig at night. Loved how fresh, awesome, authentic decor, plates, decorations, and food were all made to order. You can’t go wrong, from their tacos, asada fries, to their aguas frescas. Make this a must stop! Come early and hungry and leave happy and full!

My favorite place for authentic Mexican food in Fresno! We’ve been twice and tried the asada fries, tacos, gorditas, birria tacos, the kids quesadilla plate and horchata. Everything was 10/10! 🤩🤩 I believe prices are very fair for the amount of flavor $40-50 for a family of 3. Is a normal price around Fresno coming from a foodie. Meats we’ve tried Asada, Grilled chicken, Lengua, Birria, Chorizo. Everything again 10/10! 🤩🤩 Experience has been amazing and feels like home. They are so caring and go above and beyond. My 2yo approves. The levels of salsa verde and rojas are so enjoyable on the palette. The vibe was big and full of energy. Thank you for everything. 🫶🏼
