Part 2... At this point, I called the front desk and explained to them that nobody had cleaned my room, nobody had been in my room and in no way did it even remotely smell like marijuana. The General Manager had told a bold faced LIE. She smelled marijuana on me in the hall and used her discrimination to fraudulently charge me $200 extra to stay. At that point for the rest of the day the general manager's phone was having issues every time they would try to connect us. The woman refused to come out of her office and have a conversation to resolve the charge of my card face-to-face. I stayed calm throughout this whole ordeal and she would not be an adult and talk to another adult in person when her phone conveniently broke after she lied and charged 200 bucks to my credit card. At this point I feel like I'm in the Twilight zone because this is odd behavior for an adult. I give up the argument about the $200 but at this point I'm upset at the principal of the whole situation. This woman can just lie and I incur $200 charge and I don't even have the $200 this next month to pay to my credit card company because I live on an extremely strict budget because I'm on disability for Crohn's disease. I will have to let a couple of things go to pay for her $200 lie. I tried not to let this run the rest of my day and night. I went to the hot tub which normally is one of my favorite spots at this place. I sat down and started to relax when the inside of if someone's band-aid came towards me in the water. I swiftly got out of the hot tub and tried not to puke while running upstairs to my room. My favorite place was lacking and cleanliness this time, which I could have overlooked and given them a second chance at I not paid an original $139.56 for my room plus a $50 deposit plus a $200 fee for someone's lie and then had discrimination heaped on top of me. I will never stay here again due to the fact that I have no control over what the total cost will be. If anyone could advise me on the next step to take is I tried to talk to the nighttime manager about the issue and he agreed that none of it made sense and he agreed the charge shouldn't have been made but he seems scared of the general manager. In conclusion of our conversation he told me I could speak to the general manager about this issue the next morning. Okay, thank you but no thank you as she is the person I need to complain about. Apparently in a franchise the general manager runs a hotel however they want to because there is no one hired to complain to and apparently she knew that fact. Be careful staying here you will think you're doing everything right only to end up paying way more than originally planned along with someone hurting your character with a lie that costs you and puts money in her pockets. I know if you're on a budget like me you can't afford a $200 hit every time you go out of town and it's rare that I even get to go out of town because I take care of my mother who has white matter disease which is a lot like Alzheimer's So thank you to the general manager of the comfort inn and suites in Frisco for one ruining my whole love of that hotel because now I can't go back there due to the money reasons and you might end up paying 400 bucks when you're only paying less than $150 It's a huge deal...
Read moreI recently stayed, and overall, it was a decent experience with some notable highlights and a few areas for improvement, largely due to ongoing renovations.||Highlights:|Customer Service: The daytime staff, particularly Nisha (I hope I’m spelling that correctly), was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Her professionalism and kindness stood out and made a great impression.|Breakfast: The hotel offers an impressive breakfast spread, including cereal, bagels, toast, eggs, potatoes, meat, waffles, juice, and coffee. It was a great start to the day!|Room Decor: The room itself was nicely decorated to match the area’s vibe. It felt inviting and thoughtfully styled.|Location: The hotel is conveniently located within 12 minutes of many restaurants, making it a great base for exploring the local area.|Areas for Improvement:|In-Room Safe: The locks need updating for better security.|Bed Comfort: The beds were firmer than I prefer, though the sheets were soft and of good quality.|Pool & Hot Tub: The pool area clearly needs attention; resurfacing is necessary, and the hot tub, though hot, wasn’t fully functional as I was led to believe before booking. This was disappointing but manageable.|Renovations: The ongoing construction is evident. While it’s clear the upgrades will significantly enhance the property, the pool area may be the last to receive attention due to the high costs involved.|Final Thoughts:|For the price, I would consider staying here again, but I personally recommend waiting until the renovations are complete to enjoy the full potential of this property. It’s evident that the management is working hard to improve the facilities, and I’m optimistic about the upgrades. In the meantime, the excellent customer service and breakfast offerings are worth noting as positives during this...
Read moreI booked this hotel for 12/6-12/9 and was VERY DISPLEASED WITH THE SERVICE. I have several pictures of my complaints unsure how to upload. First, when we arrived we couldn't get in the lobby door due to construction which was not mentioned on the website. They were putting down flooring to the entire lobby and the spaces was sticking out of the floor. Secondly, I asked for a handicap accessible room and got a room with platform beds almost on the floor. The pictures on the website show regular beds not low beds on the floor. I asked the guy about changing he said no. So I called Priceline who I booked through and the said I could just cancel the next two nights and they would help me secure another room. The guy had to call the hotel to see if I could cancel or have another room and the guy said the guy at the hotel said I couldn't. Well the reason I was asking for another room was due to my health and being unable to get up off that low bed due to severe osteoarthritis in my knees but he said I couldn't change. Well I spent 3 days sleeping in a chair, trying to avoid falling on wet floors from the construction crews wiping down floors, and walking on uneven floors. I don't know what can be done but something need to be done to compensate me for my loss. I want to send the pictures of the condition of the hotel, trash stacked outside, only 1 elevator at times, back doors left open that should have been secured, lobby cold due to doors open, rooms not...
