This is not a resort in any sense of the word. This is a very trashy place with s lot of full timers in very dilapidated RVS. We’ve stayed here twice, the first time water side back in and a party boat pulled up blaring music in the water and kept us up all night. The second they tried to put us in A19 but the full timer in the spot next to it was parked in it despite their rules to not park in empty spots or on grass (they don’t enforce any rules here obviously) and they had build a porch encroaching all the way to what would be our power hookups and their plants and porch were spilling over where we where we needed our pullouts to be. The spots are not long enough to park in front of your RV, everyone has to park sideways or park into what should be your little porch pad. We didn’t feel safe here. The WiFi is non existent. There is no trash pickup. The trash can isn’t even on the way out or easy to get to - it’s all the way around a metal building and not easy to pull around to hitched up.

Overall not a bad resort but has its issues. Bathrooms are in bad shape and showers have holes in the wall. Shower curtains missing as well as far as the gentleman’s bathroom. Management claims to be “pet friendly,” however we were emailed twice that are dogs tethered out front of our camper were a disturbance. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning due to this complication and don’t recommend if you are concerned about shower conditions. On a positive note, they had a nice pool area and the hot tub was well heated. The staff was friendly and helpful. I’m not trying to be rude about the dog situation but it was an unfortunate situation because our site was right next to the office and we have three dogs and a pop up camper so keeping them inside all of the time is difficult. Which means they barked a few times at people walking past but not continuously. Mainly at other dogs.

First time RVer, and I wanted a stay near Houston TX. This RV park is small, cosy, quite, and right off the water. We stayed in parking spot C6, and with my front glass, the view was out onto the water with the palm trees. Restrooms are clean and also have showers. Laundry room is clean and nice. $3 a machine for wash. The bad: WiFi signal is 1 to 2 bars. Connects but then disconnects quickly. Speeds when it connected were 1.2 Mbps. You have to accept the WiFi use on the browser page, so this WiFi does not work for TVs. -1 star The event center was closed. It could have potential if it were open cause the event center is next to the water with a great view. -1 star For quietness, friendly neighbors, close to the sea wall and other locations in Galveston TX., I recommend this location for overnight weekend getaway.

The ONLY ONE good thing about this place is, it's right on the bay, bayou-whatever they call it here but for us- this was all! The spaces are tight and SO close together and there was trash, laying around everywhere outside. THE BATHROOMS ARE HORRENDOUS! And I've never been to jail (yet) however, if I had to guess what they'd look and function like, it would be this places bathrooms- FOR SURE! They use THE CHEAPEST toilet paper known to man and it rips- EASILY BECAUSE IT'S SO THIN! They post signs in the BR telling everyone to be "mindful" of not clogging the toilets- yet, all three of them were at some point [clogged] because of the amount of cheap toilet paper everybody uses! The plumbing to the showers is barely operating and it's exposed OUTSIDE of the "lovely" CINDER BLOCK and broken tiles. Plus, water leaks all over the place. The shower curtains are a COMPLETELY JOKE and they don't cover hardly anything because they bought all three of them at the $1 store. Lastly, there's an old AGGRESSIVE man that rolls around in a golf cart and he will LITERALLY tell people to "get out of the pool" when it closes at 9pm. He has ZERO people skills and he will stand there, intimidating everyone until everyone in fact- gets out. So I guess if you don't mind paying good money to be bossed around by someone who thinks they are a prison warden, has horrible bathrooms to match, only to then receive an aggressive, threatening email, telling everyone they are gonna shut the bathrooms and showers down because the rules and regulations were in the contract we all need to go read", this place is...

Random trip from Colorado. Decided on Galveston, Tx, closest beach scene. Pulled up GRVR&M via Google and booked. No pre research or reviews read. So happy I didn’t as this was a great choice. We arrived much later than anticipated, parked on the wrong pad, and requested to stay an extra day…the morning of. All of this without a sour word, slighted face, or negative body language. We had a great concrete pad that fit our 5th wheel toy hauler with the back deck down, no problem. The restrooms were clean every time we happened into them. Very rarely do we look to use any amenities at any campground so I have no comment on anything else; showers, laundry, WiFi, camp store, or other. We loved the view we had and all other campers who came and went were friendly enough. We checked out the beaches, several restaurants, The Pier, and Moody Gardens. Loved them all. There ARE full/long timers located on one side of the park and their areas could use a bit of ‘tidying’ up but we never felt the surroundings were loud or rambunctious. It was very much the opposite, peaceful and quiet. A few kids and many pets around but never any excessive noise or barking. Another Galveston trip and we know exactly where to stay! Thank you. We enjoyed our R&R😁 Forgot to add-resort or not there are no fire rings or grills and we forgot to pack our Q grill for this last...

Would not stay here again. There are too many other great options in Galveston. 30 amp didn’t work (thankfully we had a converter to use the 50amp) There’s Only one working shower in the ladies room. (One shower drains so slowly you’re standing in 5 inches of water hoping not to flood the bathroom- the other shower has no hardware the pipes are capped off) Extra fee of $25 for having a dog (there’s no dog park or special accommodations for animals so not sure why they charge extra for a dog to hang out in my own camper) Pool rules are so picky the staff went out of their way to confront my very sun burnt husband for wearing a fisherman’s shirt in the pool while he swam with our 5 year old. Not sure why that was an issue and they wanted him shirtless. Super odd interaction. (There’s a no street clothes sign-which I guess means no modesty/extra cover ups like a shirt vs our interpretation of no jeans, sleep clothes, shoes, bra/underwear etc) There’s a no jumping rule at the pool- really takes the fun away for kids. I understand no diving in 5ft of water but the no jumping in just feels unwelcoming for kids. CANNON BALL (Did I mention they charged us extra for our kids?!) The dryers caught the strings on our clothes and damaged a couple items.

On a positive note- the bayou has great fishing and Galveston has a...
