Took my grandmother’s antique engagement ring in to have it cleaned and just basically renewed b4 asking my now fiancée to marry me. Nothing was wrong with the ring when I brought it in. Ring has been in my family for generations and no problems have ever been discovered. Paid $1100 for the refurb and 3 weeks after giving it to my fiancée the center setting along with the antique diamond it held BROKE COMPLETELY OFF. When I returned to the store, he blamed my gf for the damage and said she must have hit it on something. SHE BARELY WORE IT. I wore this ring as a child to do all sorts of crazy things and nothing even ever was loose. Nothing was loose when I dropped it off either. So I paid for a new diamond and he put it in, and what do u know when I went to pick it up I noticed another loose diamond. I was told it wasn’t loose and it was just the light reflecting. My gf wore it 2 more times and another diamond and complete setting broke off while she was washing her hands. I’m now having to bring it to another jewler to find out exactly how much damage this place has done to my ring and if it can even be salvaged. Plus the complete lack of customer service received after the initial problem and his refusal to take responsibility and stand behind his shoddy work certainly took me by surprise. He may do custom work, but NEVER BRING HIM ANY SORT OF RESTORE OR ANTIQUE JEWLERY.

I took in a Tag Heuer watch to add a link and a battery in the watch and a battery in the Seiko sports they kept the watch for weeks no battery installed in the Seiko watch, and they didn't have the decency to call and give the status had to call.
