It's fine and does the job I guess but my last couple visits have been less than ideal. In general it's pretty dated and feels like old and some seams are starting to separate, literally in some cases. Desperately needs a refresh. They'll give you a coupon for the steakhouse next door but it's not good food. The breakfast is fine - you order from a menu and they'll bring it out. My main issue though - I arrived and found my door wouldn't open, went back and they said it might be jammed so I tried again but needed my entire body weight to get it and it was inconsistent both in efficacy and which direction I was supposed to go. I went back up and requested another room and they dismissed it and said they'd help me. I insisted on another room and was met with an eye roll and a "we'll see if we have one" and then no eye contact silent hand off of the new key. My issue is not the attitude (honestly I get it), but that a major concern was dismissed and made to seem not important. A room door being so stubbornly jammed (or jammed at all) is a safety concern. It's not a ">.< I'm lazy and weak" it's a hazard in an emergency. Or what happens if it's not an emergency and it jams fully and now I can't get in (or out) at all? Another concern was that the security latch wouldn't fully close. Some of the worst hotel wifi I've ever had. Couldn't even do a google search let alone check email or get any work done. One bar for 5 minutes at a time if I was lucky to have that much. Tl;Dr I don't think it's a safe enough hotel or at least one that cares enough for me to want to come back. There are better, cheaper options in town.

I've been to a few rough Clarion hotels, this is not one of them. Common area and lobby are very well put together, the front desk staff was friendly, the pool is being enjoyed by a bunch of kids and they say the restaurant is good. The bed is great but the pillows are pretty sad. Large room with some nice furniture. The bathroom is nice so I'm not sure what everyone else is talking about. 4 stars due to shower head height. The tall people out there will understand.

We got poolside rooms and were very happy with them. This was a Hilton in a past life, but was converted into a Clarion 15-ish years ago. It still has all the charm. The staff are great. The restaurant, Samy's, is expensive, but absolutely worth the money. They will let you take the drinks, dishes, etc out of the restaurant to eat in your room or at any of the tables nearish the pool, as well as for overnight leftovers. I love this place.

I’ve emailed regarding our stay with no response. The night we arrived at the hotel after lying down we realized the air wasn’t working. Called the front desk, they offered to move us but it was late and we were exhausted so we opted for a box fan. The next day we moved rooms, all was good until we went to bed and turned on the TV, it didn’t work. Called front desk, they sent maintenance he plugged it in/messed with it and got it to work. We went to bed, after 15 min the picture went black, we only had sound. This was why it was unplugged, it didn’t work. At this point we’re over it. Went to bed got up and went to the front desk and explained to the lady the issues we were having. She was very rude and her response was “we tried to fix your issues, what more do you want”? Keep in mind, we had had a great weekend with family, we weren’t mad at all, just wanted a discount OR even an apology. She said she didn’t know when the manager would be in the following week, she didn’t know her schedule. I’ve called the hotel leaving messages for the manager with no response. The front desk lady said so incredibly rudely, “you already received a summer discount, what more do you want”?! Well for $300 for two nights, I would love AC and a TV. Dealing with her was worse than the room situation, she was absolutely AWFUL! I will say the room was very clean. All can be overlooked except the rude customer service. AC and TV going out are out of peoples control, however, being rude and awful to customers,...

Check in was laborious and slow. Spent near 25 minutes not listening to anything I said and pressing forward with correcting my address, phone number, email, and Choice Rewards number. Then doing a full blown analysis of my former stays and my current choice. Then 15 minutes to find a key that will even hold a code for me to get to my room. Was there 2 days, went through 8 keys. All apparently were my fault and kept de-magnetizing. Ceiling in the entrance of the room was sagging and paint peeling. Carpet had been destroyed by the likes of a kool-aid wielding 3 year old Bathroom was smelly. Paint peeling off the ceiling of the shower. Show had low spots and holes in the ceiling as well Had a poolside room. Hard to enjoy when the carpet and air smell like century old mold and mildew. The most inconsistent wifi that I have experienced at any hotel. I stay somewhere around 120 nights a year in a hotel. Woke up on my last morning to find niagara falls in my room. AC leaking profusely, enough to splatter and wet my clothes that were in my closet.

I have stayed at this hotel for the last 12 years consistently. We have meetings here. We encourage people to stay. There's special place in my heart for this hotel and it pains me to write this review. Some of the best people work here, but I'm not sure I can stay here any longer. The owners do a ton for the community, and I'll come back to eat the food, just not...
