Harbor Freight — Local services in Garden City

Harbor freight seems to be rising up quality wise super quick since Sears has been losing out. My Vulcan migmax 140 welder has been awesome and even plugged into a 120v outlet seems to by far out perform my other 120v only unit. I need to get a 220v outlet for it. Even with just flux core it burns good enough the welds are almost flux free compared to my other unit that needs a lot of cleanup. These tests were done with the same roll of wire on each. My other unit is a $350 flux only unit I've had about 10 years now. Also their earthquake I've heard really good things about with a friend that works with Dewalt constantly because that's what he's supplied by his job. Their hand tools are getting to be very good quality "pick the good ones" and much better than they use to be years ago. You get what you pay for so of they have 2 brands or 3 brands then get the most expensive if you want nice quality. I like to stay away from any of their cheapest brands personally unless you're one of those guys that lose everything after 2 uses. The top brands like Vulcan and earthquake and others they're coming out with seem pro quality which is a huge change for harbor freight. I personally think Vulcan would give Miller a run for their money for sure. We use to use Miller in high school but it's been years and I wouldn't take my word for it but there's a lot of welders comparing them to the Miller. Some dog on the Vulcan but I'm putting down really good welds with just 120v and flux core that penetrate extremely good even with the power cranked down to half what the Vulcan manual claims. It burned straight through the first try at their setting recommendation but once turned down did great. Maybe it would work at their setting if I was a pro welding at...

My husband and mines cashier made a snide comment (to I believe another associate even) about me being on my phone after I walked into a space off to the left of the exit and just passed the registers. Funny thing is, I had just got done taking pictures of the store to post to Google for its business online and was trying to pull up the site. Smh. I sure hope shes not manager cuz she is certainly over paid for her customer service. It was 10.30.2020, mid afternoon and I came in with my husband, our 2 boys and we purchased an air tank lead hose. Were actually from out of town and stopped to check out the whole shopping center. Posted even a couple pictures to Pinkys and Gamestop. So to the owner of this site for harbor freight, you need better staff & or management 💯 or maybe just teach them to just shut up & do...

This is a wonderful place great tools at a reasonable price under staff is very friendly .. ..........update........ I was there about a week ago and I'm Highly disappointed by the Spanish guy they have working the cash register..I don't know what kind of day he was having but he was overly rude to my wife and was very short with customers...I hope that the management retrains him or gets him another job where he don't have to deal with people or let's him go...making people feel...
