The manager here is the worst individual I have ever encountered with the title of manager. Incompetent is being generous when describing her work style... She has her boy friend or significant other ( who also works there ) make treating call to tenants instead of her being professional and making the call her self as the manager and dealing with any issue instead of having her BF try to scare them off. Well I don't scare easily... Up until today the limited interactions I did have with this person Danielle Jimenez, were kept cordial and professional I say limited access because in the entire six or seven months that I've been here I've spoken to her maybe twice she has her cleaning lady handle issues that she should be I thought the cleaning lady was actually the manager until our interaction today so limited being that there's hardly anybody ever in the office here talk to or handle tenant issues in if there is 9 times out of 10 it is not the manager Danielle. My rent was due this past Sunday unfortunately I left the complex at 6:00 or 7:00 a.m. in the morning and returned after the office is closed Even knowing that the office is closed I went there and attempted to pay anyway and get a new room key this was denied The following day I'm awaken to somebody pounding on their door saying that they needed them written when you know Fair enough but my mother has a visiting nurse here and that's why she is in this hellhole to begin with so after explaining that we have a visiting nurse if I could make payment after the fact that would be great The lady left and about 45 minutes later and even harder pounding on the door I look up I'm going to do to see not much but her so I open the door she said she needs to rent money now and I explain to her again that visiting nurse will be here within 15 minutes if we could handle this after she says no she called the police the police were in the parking lot going to do a trespass on me if I did not pay her at this very moment so I asked her how much I owe she could not give an exact amount she said 120 something so with the urgency of her calling the police and pounding on the door making requests that I pay the rent immediately you think she would have an exact number of what was needed she did not I don't know why her being again incompetent at her job is more than likely the reason she says follow her to the office I do so except I get to the office before her and again I'm left dealing with the cleaning lady who tells me a different amount from what she told me about 10 or 15 minutes later she arrives at the office with a third amount didn't even match the first time I should given me when she's knocked on my room door again the competence with this woman and I use that term loosely runs rampant if she was a form of incompetence it would be a bumper crop this season.... The police didn't ever make contact with me I've never have given her a reason to call the police but she did for some reason I guess as an intimidation tactic when her boyfriend didn't work she also had two people follow me through the parking lot in a gray SUV giving me dirty looks the entire tone I'm guessing this is someone maybe her uncle or father or brother or whoever but again not being scared easy I could continue to go about my business and just have them a circle around the parking lot two to three times until I decided to go in. Again I've been nothing but respectful to these people up until today when I felt disrespected I made sure that I let them know I was feeling disrespected and they did not care upon checking into this facility I let them know my mother's health issues despite that today she since she doesn't care about my mother's health conditions and this is not a nursing facility after spending $7,000 or so on my time here then to be treated like this... avoid this place like the plague if I'm checking in Express in need for a quiet area for my mother to recover I was placed next to A barking dog and a crazy woman who never sleeps....

The staff is willing to work with you on pricing and room accommodation if you are kind and empathetic. The rooms are all somewhat unique and mostly have working fixtures (I've stayed in 3 rooms over the last 20 days.) They have no issues with dogs, but you get a $25/day fee up to $150 total for your stay You can usually find parking at the hotel The staff is friendly and they always try their best to help with what you need.
Negatives No security cameras are on site My room had the metal door bent in so it couldn't lock fully which was scary given no security cameras. Cleaning is set to "once every 2 weeks" by default for long-term stays so you need to let them know you want it more often. I ended up cleaning my own room because they don't clean the floors very well Many of the rooms have broken appliances, electrical issues, or physical damage Do your laundry elsewhere because it's $2.75 to wash and $2.00 to dry and you need cash to get quarters from the front desk.
Advice The staff has to follow corporate policies that are designed to remove any power from middle-mamagement. They have to do their work on ipads and constantly have to excuse issues with the property. They upgrade and bounce people around in their reservations. While this isn't necessarily bad for the customer because people get better deals and better rooms that are worth the price they are paying for them, it ends up systemically impacting the efficiency and consistency of service from a management point of view and then makes people wonder why they are paying higher prices for the quality of the room they are getting...and then always have to complain to get the nicer rooms. If you belong to a discount status like military affiliation, persons with disabilities, etc...the price is lower for short term stays as compared to other nearby hotels, but long-term you may be suited best elsewhere unless you pick a good time when there is a deal going on. Book for the longest stay you can in their bulk rate. If you think you are going to stay for longer thab 7 days, book the monthly rate and then leave when you want and get a prorated refund. Don't buy the enhanced internet Be nice to the people working there. They are only doing what corporate is pushing on them...and they deal with shifty people all day. Have compassion and you...
Read moreAll hotel rooms should be like these — at least in terms of having a refrigerator and a way to cook. It made my stay so much easier, and so much less expensive by being able to cook pretty much whatever I wanted myself. And that they did this without charging me an arm and a leg suggests to me that there's no good reason that this shouldn't be the standard. The service staff was very friendly, and having on-site laundry was really helpful. The Wi-Fi wants to offer to charge you for premium service when you first sign into it, suggesting that you will need it to stream video — but the free version works just fine for that, and it met all my needs without having to shell out more money. It didn't feel throttled at all, except for the very rare occasion where there was a service interruption.
Most of my complaints are nitpicks — but there were a bunch of 'em, so they add up. While the room overall appeared clean, the floors were quite dirty, as walking on them barefoot revealed. The curtains on the window don't properly close, which meant I had to clip them shut using items I had with me to get proper privacy in the room. The lack of a plug-in accessible on the side of the bed with the nightstand was irritating in the age of the cell phone. A shelf inside of the refrigerator fell out as soon as I tried to use it, and looks like it had barely been suspended in there and was already partly broken when I went to use it. When I renewed for a second and third week, my key cards stopped working each time without warning, and I had to go to the office to get them renewed — didn't even get a heads up first, meaning I could have easily gotten stuck outside my room at a critical time. At one point my stove top stopped working, and it took two days from it being reported for them to do anything about it. The vending machines which it advertises were nowhere to be found, apparently out for repairs the whole time I was there. Part way through my stay, they started to be quite a bit of noise somewhere above me, even at odd hours of the night — I've stayed in hotels with rooms above me many times, and this is the first time that's ever been a problem. I could also, at one point, hear my next door neighbor getting a phone call through the wall. And lastly, when I went to try to take an actual bath in the bathtub, the drain wouldn't shut for me to do it, despite having a built-in stopper. None of these things are a big deal in and of themselves, but I feel like the list of irritating things was a bit too long to...
