In my opinion, this is as good as it gets. Locals work here and they are one of the busiest drive thru's in all of Denver. I have been eating here for almost years. I've met most who work here and many remember me. I'm that weird lady who always says "no napkins, no straws, spoon, etc..." I find it all wasteful. No joke! It's not difficult to reduce waste and these kinds of establishments sadly waste a ton. Ever received napkins for any fast food joint? It's a stack! What are they saying? Oh, it's messy? People need more napkins? Good grief.
My favorite is their sweet tea. It reminds me of when I lived in the south. Real sweet tea. I also love their cookie parfait. I don't eat blueberries so I typically say no fruit. It comes with blueberries and strawberries. I learned they use the Wallaby's Vanilla Bean Greek Organic yogurt. This can be bought at Natural Grocers for a lot less! I also get their classic chicken sandwich meal or the grilled sandwich meal. I enjoy their 3 count or 4 count chicken strips sometimes too. Every winter I look forward to their tortilla Soup. It's delicious!!! There is a couple that work there, husband and wife, who I think are management. Very tall and super nice and helpful. They keep things going smoothly.
There is a large parking lot and sadly many homeless in the area. I'm grateful Glendale police are around frequently. I've seen stolen cars and vagrant type behavior. The businesses try to keep it clean but people are dirty. I've witnessed many throw their trash out of the vehicle. It's located in a large plaza like complex that borders Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Wendy's, Walgreens, Subway, KFC, a dispensary, Shotgun Willie's and an intimate store. There is riff-raff and people should be attentive to their surroundings. ALWAYS KERP VEHICLE LOCKED!
I do wish there was a couple of trash bins. I'd love to see establishments come up with drive by trash cans. Ones protected from elements and vehicles but where people could dispense with trash from their vehicles efficiently.
Overall, enjoy this location as it's in close proximity to where I live. It's also right off Colorado Blvd and Alameda (southeast corner) and it's where Glendale...
Read moreThe one feature on an alarm clock (excuse me, phone) the designers should've thought twice about putting on the device was the snooze button. It gives you a false sense of security, in that you think you have more time to sleep, when all it does is make you late for work. I was pondering this dilemma as I was breaking several laws involving speed and driving in general to make into work before had to explain myself to my manager as to why I was riding the red line on a timely arrival. Of course, running a bit late, precludes my attempt at making breakfast, (even cereal) so I made a quick detour to the Chick-fil-A off Tower road. Now, normally, the line is backed up to the parking lot, but this time the gods smiled on me and there were only three cars ahead of me. But, that wasn't a problem, as Chick-fil-A has got their drive-in game down pat and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I had the breakfast croissant, and their tater tots along with an OJ and it was delicious! Their chicken sandwich but with egg and cheese makes for a hearty way to start the day, the price is fair for what you get, and even if you think that the snooze button gives you some extra time, the speed and efficiency with which the Crew at Chick-fil-A prepares your order, makes the extra few minutes of slumber well worth the time. These guys to a bang up job. Bravo Zulu! I wonder if I could get them to write a note...
Read moreI used to Love their food and service. It’s gone down a lot. I recently had my personal information compromised have not been able to find out who compromised my personal info in which the police are still investigating the situation and I recently visited this location and couldn’t understand why the name I used for my order which is pronounced as a common name but has an abnormal spelling a spelling not usually easy to guess was written on my receipt correctly spelled it’s like the individual who took my order knew a lot about me that shouldn’t have been known yet the individual wasn’t even wearing a name tag so I have no idea who they are. It’s a very strange coincidence on why it was spelled correctly. The food and service wasn’t the best and the sticker with the name wasn’t even on the bag it was thrown inside the bag. So I found out when I got home this individual knew how to spell the abnormal spelling of the name to a T yet I had no idea who this person was since they didn’t even have a name tag on. Needless to say. I don’t plan on returning. Bad food uncomfortable...
