EDIT: I feel as if I do need to update this review and update my rating for this Les Schwab while I will still be leaving my original review up I do feel the need to update. I would have done this sooner but forgot that I had written this review. The store did reach out to me wanting me to give them a second chance and I did give them a second chance, this time they did exceed my expectations and went above and beyond. They had called me with the want of me to give them a second chance they went over on how they were going to order the part that was needing to be replaced and replace it at no cost to me. When the part got in they gave me a call and had one of their techs come and pick my car up from my place of work. While they were working on it they realised that the issue was bigger than originally thought, they ordered the part that was going to need to be replaced and gave me a call and went over the situation with me. They were very considerate about keeping my car longer and also did the additional work at no cost to me as well. If you asked me they did a great job and were great to work with I am very happy I gave them a second chance and will more than likely use them again in the future
I was originally very happy and was wanting to give a positive review but after my phone call today I am very upset. I had a large repair done where I needed to have both my front and rear struts replaced and was also needing my control arm bushings replaced since they did so much work they also did an alignment as well. I was out driving today and had noticed that something did not seem right as they were a lot of vibrations and rubbing sounds coming from the rear. I called the store when I had gotten home and spoke with the Lady who answered the phone. When I explained the issue to her I was told she was going to talk to the technician real quick about this. When she came back so told me that in the notes state that my passenger rear camkit is missing the nut and adjustment washer and that it would cause a rattling noise. This was never explained to me when I was picking up my car and now it seems that I have paid for an alignment that was not done properly but I have been told that is was done. It also upsets that they gave me no information about this until I called to talk about possibly getting it in to see what might be going on. I am now out $134.99 for an alignment and will now have to find another company to have them fix this issue and more than likely have to pay for another alignment from that company. I would not recommend Les Schwab to anyone after...
Read moreBought two deep cell batteries a few months apart. Both batteries went bad within a year. One battery they couldn’t find the original paperwork in the computer, it just disappeared. So I fought to have that one replaced. So I now have two new replaced batteries I’m gonna sell.
So I brought in BOTH batteries to TEST and CHARGE… then to include the relevant paperwork (that they are good and charged) with EACH battery at the time I sell them. FYI: I then left them from Friday to Monday. Then on Monday I picked them up.
Normally, any place gives you a print out of each of the batteries, with the paperwork “showing” the battery was good, and each one was charged.
BUT… all I got was a one page “print out” showing only ONE complimentary charge… but in the small print… it says BOTH batteries on the paperwork. So how am I supposed to use this??? Nothing else. That’s it.
Btw, it’s not complementary if you bought them there, it’s general maintenance and upkeep. Geez.
So NO test report “print out” provided, NO paperwork for each battery… to showing a TEST and a CHARGE. The paperwork only shows one battery, with a one page print out. Just one battery “check” and “complimentary” charge.
No serial numbers, no ID on the batteries, no idea what the hell they did. What a waste of time.
See I’ve been with Les Schwab since 1982, and this was the biggest waste of time and the biggest joke I’ve ever seen (and now you wonder how they could have “lost” the original paperwork in the computer for one of the batteries).
Oh… but they sure can charge you. But when you need any warranty or service done? Everything about the service, paperwork, and any warranty seems to disappear… so you don’t have proof of anything.
And Les Schwab wonders why people are now going other places to purchase batteries? Geez 🙄
See Walmart and all auto part stores will not only give you the battery test report, but have ALL the paperwork completed. That way you know exactly what was done, and you have PROOF. And it’s ALL FREE.
Unlike Les Schwab and their so-called free $20.99 “battery check”. Grrrr..
So my next batteries will come from Walmart, Costco, or Sam’s Club. What a joke....
Read moreI DO NOT recommend this place. I brought my van in 6 months ago for an alignment. I ended up having to leave my vehicle there for almost 10 days and had to rent a car that costed $500. Then after being told that if I didn't get the work done I wouldn't be able to drive the car away it would have to go to the salvage yard. I still owe money on the vehicle. Needless to say almost $2000.00 dollars later $1000 which was out of pocket and then had to finance $855.00. I had to have shocks and struts tie rod rack and pinion, and a knuckle put on the front with an alignment. When I got home the vans back end was dragging. I took it back and was told they must have put a pair of bad Shocks/Struts on. They said they fixed it. They didn't fix the alignment after putting the second pair on so it never felt right especially for having the Best Alignment and Suspension Value Promise on it. Then this last snow storm Something went wrong with the Front Strut and I took it back to have them fix it for a third time. I was told I was behind on my payments and they would fix it once I paid the $400 I was behind. I was not going to pay them another dollar for work that I could tell was not done right from the start. I decided to take it to another place Tony's Auto (Kings Auto and Diesel) in Loveland. On my way to Tony's the strut that Les Swab had just fixed 6 months prior broke and it pulled the CV axel out of the socket. I went ahead and had Tony's do all of the work for me that I had already paid $1000.00 for Les Swab to fix 6 months ago. So I paid another $1200 to have the struts done again but this time I know they were done right. I highly recommended Tony's Auto (Kings Auto and Diesel) in Loveland for anyone's Suspension work. DO NOT Take your vehicle to Les Schwab. I will be reporting all of...
