This would be a zero star if I could. I don't give bad reviews but this was the worst customer service experience ever. We were told we could get $880 off with bundling a new phone and tablet with 256gb each device. After I agreed, he transfers the phone over then proceeds to tell me the tablets are out of stock that they have older versions in stock. I then asked why he couldn't tell me that at the beginning and he said he couldn't see they were out of stock until he goes in to order it (he never touch the computer, he was still messing with the phone) then he said they can honor the deal once the tablet becomes available and I said can they wave the activation fee he said no it's two separate fees. I said never mind because I didn't want to pay twice. He then said I would have to pay two activation fees either way. He never specified that I had to pay for activation fees on each device until this point. We ended up getting the phone only and left. I looked at the paperwork and we did not get the 256gb phone that he said we were getting. We got a 128gb phone. I called in and they just said sorry we can return it and order one. I asked for the name of the sales rep and they wouldn't tell me. I have two names on the receipt Joseph V and Dominick M. Whoever it was really needs training. All he wanted was to make a commission and only cares...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreItās crazy that you can have a complete different experience just a week apart. I came in 2 weeks ago on the weekend and they were swamped. We got our name on the list and it really didnāt even feel like a wait. I forget the guys name but he was awesome. Answered every question no hassle 10/10. Fast forward a week later to a different response. We came back to this specific Verizon store because it was so simple and easy. I felt like we were being harassed trying to buy a phone outright (as we did a week ago) the store was slow and there were just a bunch of employees sitting doing nothing or trying to tell us how weāre wrong about iCloud storage. I get that sales people work on commission but to so candidly lie about how phone storage works in order to get a customer to buy the 256 vs the 128 feels like a scummy bad practice. i went from a 256 down to a 128 and im just fine. I hope management reads this and they can tell their employees to not accuse customers of being ācombativeā weāre here to buy a phone like you just asked what we came in through the doors. From now Iām going to go out of my way to not come to this location or just go to the Best Buy in the same...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHuge shout out to Vanessa, who helped me retrieve some lost contacts quickly and happily, and Seth for helping me set up and understand backup service to my new phone. Both employees were super friendly, and they know their stuff. I had a horrible experience, actually multiple horrible experiences at the Centerplace corporate store, and am so thankful to find this store. Vanessa got the contacts restored in less than a couple minutes while on hold working on something else. Seth had my new phone set up in less than ten minutes. It's disappointing that the corporate store at Centerplace couldn't do this for me. Seems to me they like to complete the sale, and thats where their help ends. No desire whatsoever to take care of their customers and are downright demeaning if you have a question. What a breath of fresh air this Cellular Plus store has been. Knowledgeable, kind, and happy to help. This kind of service is such a rarity and is much appreciated. Thank you so much for being so awesome, guys! Totally...
