Great family pool, unless of course, you have a child who actually wants to swim. I will say, they do have all the things stated on their website. Here's what they don't tell you... Yes, there is a leisure pool with zero depth entry. However, it has a maximum depth of 1 foot. Yes, that's right, total depth of 12 inches, so not exactly conducive for swimming. Next we tried the "lazy river", which unlike most pools, is a separate "pool" to get into. It is without a doubt, the fastest lazy river I've ever experienced. More of a fast moving creek. My poor little guy (who loves to swim) cried the whole time because he couldn't keep his head up in the current, even with his Puddle Jumper floatation device. And finally, they have yet another separate pool that is not for toddlers to swim in. It is set up for laps and the water slides. Ultimately, this facility is just not set up for a toddler who actually wants to swim. Babies, sure. Older kids who have had swim lessons, I guess (though I don't think it would be particularly entertaining), but young children who are not able to swim laps or go down the slides, most definitely not. The best part of my visit was when I got to drag my crying 2 year old to the front desk to ask for a refund since we were there for all of 5 minutes, and was told I could have a pass to come back. I explained since everyone pool was the only reason I came and it was the reason I was leaving and I wanted my entry refunded (for me, my 16 yr old sister and my 2 yr old). I was told that I had to fill out a form and they might refund me after the 2 week processing. Complete and utter nonsense. Frankly, I wouldn't go back to this facility of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been coming here for years. We pay a membership for 6 people and after yesterday we are looking for some place new to go work out and swim. When i went to workout the temperature in the gym was above 80 degrees at those temps trying to work out makes you feel like your going to pass out. The pool is closed so I can't cool of in there. The ac system could not be turned on because there was no one that knew how too apparently they had no supervisor there to tell them how and the ladies sitting at the counter said they could not even call someone to find out how. I went back upstairs found the thermostats and turned them all to cool since they said they did not know how. It slowly started cooling off but by that point im not waiting hours for it to cool down. I am also shocked and disappointed by the fact they close for weeks saying they are fixing things and nothing is fixed. The gym still has torn upholstery one machine so broken and wires just hanging all those were broken before the shut down and still remain broken after. All I saw they had done was move equipment around and make everything look more crowded there was no point closing the gym since they fixed nothing not even the ac. After my experience yesterday we left and went looking for a new place to workout and swim. The pool has a slide I have never seen work and anyone who gets to close or stands on the edges of it get yelled at. They should be removing it if it doesn't work not yelling at kids who dive off the sides. So thanks for making me want to cancel all 6 of our memberships and find...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe got to the funplex and it was beautiful outside and staff was nice. We hadnt been there for over a year bc our first/last time we went, the place was disgusting and staff and other swimmers were rude and pool was overpacked and cold. So, today after the outside and staff i thought things changed. But... The fanily bathroom looked almost muddy from all the dirt. there were shampoo bottles, qtips and a partial swimsuit on the floor. The pool was cold again. There was visible dirt all over the walls, benches etc on the walls above the sauna. I watched as my son slid down the red waterslide and it looked like muddy water in the shoot part. My skin broke out from the chlorine. It didnt smell normal. Even after showering when i got home, my hair smelled like chlorine and almost like paint thinner bc of whatever was in it. My sons back was rashed from the waterslide. My daughter and i also have felt sick since we left and had to shower twice at home to get the smell from the water chemicals out. My skin is broke out and feels like its on fire.-no allergies to chlorine btw-.... I didnt bother informing the staff bc, i had last year about our first visit and im sure other people have and the place is in the same condition. The only plus was it wasnt extremely overcrowded like last year. We tried giving it another shot but wont...
