"Adorable cabin /hot tub experience with a View – A Truly Hot Experience!" If you’re in the market for a vacation that’s equal parts nature escape and luxury spa, look no further than this mountain cabin. Tucked away in the middle of what I assume is *heaven’s backyard*, and so close to Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods ,Pikes Peak,Eleven Mile recreation area -you literally can not run out of things to do or see. this cozy little gem of a cabin comes with its own hot tub. And let me tell you, after 20 minutes of soaking in that steaming goodness, you’ll wonder if your past life was spent as a boiled lobster—in the best way possible, of course. The cabin itself is like a hug in wood form. Rustic charm with all the modern amenities, including Wi-Fi -The views from the deck are so stunning that I started narrating my morning coffee routine like it was an episode of a nature documentary (deers, hummingbirds and chipmunks included) that even David Attenborough would be proud. Inside, everything smells like pine and relaxation. The fireplace is perfect for channeling your inner mountain person, or just for pretending you know how to chop wood while enjoying Netflix by the fire. Oh, and did I mention the hot tub? Yeah, I’m still thinking about it. After a day of pretending I’m an adventurous hiker -my fam and I are flat landers so we try haha! slipping into that tub felt like being baptized by bubbles. But actually there is a beautiful waterfall hike 2min walk from cabin. We loved it here!! 10/10 would recommend, and 11/10 if you're a fan of pretending to rough it in the wilderness… while soaking in a hot tub.

Our weekend getaway at Green Mountain Falls was perfect! The host was very responsive and kind, also accommodating our request for early check in. The location was easy to find, even in the snow. We drove 2 AWD vehicles that did just fine on the snowy dirt road up the house. The house was clean, had all amenities mentioned, and was within walking distance of a local restraunt and bar (The gluten free pizza and Friday night karaoke at the Blue Moose was well worth it!). We saw deer in the front yard who stuck around all day. Our favorite part of the stay was chillin in the hot tub during an evening snowstorm! The weather in the valley was spectacular. We kept an eye on our weather apps, but the position of the valley brought some fast moving clouds and unexpected snow, which ended up being quite the treat to watch in the hot tub! Overall, we enjoyed the trip and would stay at this property again!

From the moment we arrived, Buffalo Cabin exceeded expectations. The two-story layout and tall windows let natural light flood the space. Grill came in handy for outdoor cooking. The kitchen was fully stocked with tools and appliances, making cooking effortless. The living areas and bedrooms were comfortable, clean, and well styled. Pup friendly, complete with dog treats and bowl. The hot tub was a highlight. private, warm, with views of trees and sky. We used it in the evenings under stars. The decking and outdoor seating areas were great for coffee in the morning or reading during the day. We appreciated small touches: extra blankets, good lighting, and a host that responded quickly. The location provided a quiet escape but was still accessible to local amenities. Overall I’d rate it 5/5. I’ll come back.

One of the worst overnight experiences I've ever had. They are a completely non smoking facility, not tobacco, vapes, or MMJ at all on the grounds. There hot tubs are impropriety wired and will not get hotter than 90 degrees. No matter the issues around have no fear, you are completely on your own. The owners told us they have 15 airbnbs they manage and it was too overwhelming. We had issues from the start of our stay, everything from lack of dog friendliness, non smoking signs that are completely passive aggressive with no word prior that you are visiting a non smoking facility. The rules inside don't even mention that you cannot smoke on the facility. Needless to say aside from having Covid-19 during our stay and the host being completely unresponsive to any issues that we had. They had construction workers working on the cabins behind us during the day, 8 hour shifts with super thin walls. The quite hours are a joke 9pm-8am with a Bar right across the road that has live music and is open until 1am. We literally heard the people across the road every night we stayed. When we brought up too many issues with our host eventually they flipped out and texted us that we needed to vacate the property due to non compliance issues. (We have 3 very small dogs) Scott and Sherry claimed we never mentioned or payed a pet fee. Oddly enough we still had our airbnb message where the very first thing we did prior to being approved was mentioned that we had 3 dogs and wanted to stay with our family for Christmas week. We made it 3 of our 6 nights before we were fed up with these people! First they accused us of the dogs, when we could prove that we did in fact mention the dogs upon first introductions, they started to say we had illegal drugs and were using them on the premises. I have my Medical Card for MMJ and I had a joint after tripping on there jagged steps leading down to the tiny patch of grass they call the dog friendly area . We brought up that when we booked, and on the airbnb house rules no mentioning of non smoking was ever brought up. We only ever smoked outside on the patio. Do yourself a huge favor and find yourself somewhere else to stay, even if its more costly or less fancy. I promise you this place will disappoint you tremendously! Really look at and read there reviews. We are not the first people to have issues with these folks. After we left Sherri and Scott proceeded to continue to message us as if the event of them flipping out on us never happened, they denied our request for a refund and sabotaged thier own property as an attempt to make us look bad and get as much money from us as possible. We are not silly however and we made sure to take videos and pictures of everything and how we left it anticipating that they are shady businesses owners. Oddly enough they blamed us for smoking inside thier cottage saying that we left windows open and cheap air freshers to cover our tracks(the air freshners we used upon leaving we're the ones left left inside the cabin for cleaning) Scott and Sherri also claimed we had left their heaters on during this period. (We left them at 60 degrees which I thought was polite being a poorly insulated wooded cabin in December) I'm not all negativity here though, I will say the Food across the road from here. In particularly The Blue Moose Lounge has amazing food! Live music and good...

If we knew what we were getting into here everything would have been fine - maybe. That was not the case. This place misled us on almost every account. On the website there is a map of the property. My family chose the Eagle Cabin on the far edge of the property as it appeared to be the most secluded spot. There is no seclusion on this property whatsoever. We were in some guy's backyard. The cabins are nearly on top of each other. Our outdoor sitting area was the front stoop of the neighboring cabin. Not kidding. The hot tubs that are labelled as "private hot tubs" are in full view of everyone and their neighbor. BUT WAIT... Now for the bad part...we arrived "after hours" to find that the Lakeside (across the street from the lake) Cottages property is on the side of a mountain. okay, it's in the mountains. no problem. we got the key and looked for a way to get 250lbs of luggage to our cabin up on the mountainside. we drove around the side of the property looking for sidewalk only to find out, regretfully, that there is only one way to get your luggage up to your cabin. STAIRS. Over 50 stairs from the parking lot to cabin #4. 50+ stairs!!! are you kidding me?!!! no, not kidding. oddly, no mention of stairs on the website - a simple oversight I'm sure. (I posted a pic of the map that they give you when you arrive). that map shows the stairs. so just imagine arriving late night only to find you have to lug your stuff up stairs to the 5th floor. no sherpas provided. not cool. at all. there is more... NO WIFI in cabin #4. seriously? no wifi? do dinosaurs still rule the planet? if so, can they haul luggage? this was the deal breaker. To get online I had to leave my cabin, walk down 15 stairs to a lower landing and sit there. Fine in the morning maybe, but not at night in my pajamas when I need to respond to 15 work emails. Manager(?) gave me lame runaround about their spotty connection that "usually works" and the effect of storms and mountains and water-spouts and dragons. No offer of compensation whatsoever. not their fault. roaming elk may block signal. Cabin was clean. I posted the remotes pic just for comedy. dishes were not clean - had to wash them myself before we ate. Bought fresh trout to grill - their grill ran out of propane. 10pm. really. tried to finish in the 1960's gas stove - so old you cannot read writing on knobs. on and on. exhaust fan blows in. Crazy Loud karaoke bar across street - LOUD at 2 am. Deception Cottages should be the name. at least now you know what you...
