The Blue Moose Tavern — Restaurant in Green Mountain Falls

As a repeat visitor from Ohio, I brought my Fiancé here today for the delicious food and atmosphere, along with my Son who lives in the Springs. Our pup was barking and we were ordered by a large female girl to go outside to the patio. On the patio, we were next to a table where a man used extreme frequent loud profanity. After 1/2 an hour the same female finally asked if we wanted food. She is very rude an impersonable. When rain started pouring on our food and as I was trying to move our table out of the rain, the girl came and slammed the paper napkin holder into my food. Sge then proceeded to use the f word at me repeatedly, calling me fu@@ing rude, a fu@@ing liar, threatening me, standing over me cussing very loudly at me in front other customers, threw pizza boxes on top of our food, told me to get the f@@k out, she was calling the police and they'd be there in 2 minutes. I said please call them. She laughed and told me the police are her f@@king friends and wouldn't do anything to her. She was ths only server/worker and clearly was having a very bad day. The pizza was excellent and we loved the outdoor seating and live music! There's always a catch though, our service was terrible and everything else on the menu besides pizza wasn't the best. We had our drink order taken right away, and after getting our drinks, we didn't see our waitress for at least 15-20 minutes. Anytime we needed anything, we had to get up and go to the bar and find someone to bring us anything. When she would come by, she was rude at times, making us get our own water from a water jug at the bar, and giving very short answers. As far as the food went, we ordered nachos, pizza, and my girlfriend had a sandwich. The bread for her sandwhich was very soggy like the bread was still doughy, and the nachos had barely any cheese on them. Granted the nachos were good, the whole point of nachos is to have lots and lots of cheese, and I think the chef hasn't gotten that memo. It's a shame my first visit wasn't a good one, this place seems like a nice little hole in the wall bar but after the service, I won't...

Over memorial weekend we came in with our two kids and sat outside. (No wait to be seated sign). We waited for 15 minutes and no one came to our table. Mind you the bar tender looked at us a couple of times during this process. Overheard her telling someone at the bar I smoked a bowl before coming into work and feel “so good”. I went inside to ask if someone could wait on and us and found a waitress who was chatting in the corner with the one table of people that were inside. She ignored me twice standing there. Another couple who were standing at a table outside the bar asked if they could order and she rudely told them we’ll go find a table and I’ll see you. Finally she told me she would be with us shortly. I went outside and we sat for another ten minutes and she never came out so we left.
