ALDI — Local services in Greenfield

Aldi is a great establishment and those who don't say nice things about Aldi just don't understand its business model or the proper things to buy. Looking at these reviews, there are complaints about the cashiers "rushing" and the items on the shelves still being in their boxes. Their prices are rock-bottom due to an extreme efficiency mindset (bag your own groceries; don't make staff waste time unboxing individual items) so only shop here if you're comfortable with trading standard supermarket niceties for frugality. Feel free to go to Whole Foods if you don't like this system.

Cashier's were rude and rushed people going through. It's because they are timed on how fast they get customers through the line. I didn't even have my items in my bag before the cashier rudely started scanning and throwing the next persons items on top of mine. I asked if I could use the cart to simply bring items to counter (not outside of the store) to pack them up. I was told no and if I wanted to bring a quarter next time to use a cart, that was my option. RUDE, as this location cares about times being exceeded more than the customer having a pleasant experience. I shall take my business back to Big Y and BJs. It was my third time visiting. Aldi will always be that grocery shop I go since I first shopped when I lived in England, UK. Now, I wished that they have self checkouts in Massachusetts as they do in Minnesota!!!. Some of the cashiers have no customer service skills..None whatever!!! I just left this branch in Greenfield... It's a new store for heaven's sake!!!! Complete silence as this cashier picked up my first item, no eye contact till the end then handed me my receipt and moved on to the next customer.
