Avila Beach Golf Resort — Hotel in Grover Beach

Bought a concert ticket at Boo Boo records...never had an issue.For what ever reason some tickets weren't registering. I stating that the ticket had been purchased at Boo Boos,the blond female in charge couldn't care less! Although she most definitely was dressed professionally in a Jack Daniels tank top and jeans and no form of identification whatsoever,her responce was...I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU.She has no business working with the public,she's willing to basically steal money and not even attempt to solve an issue for many who have spent their hard earned money to have nothing more then little bit of fun...NOT GOOD! I've been to a few concerts there and all in all it's good for what it is,I mean they put water on the golf course so it's green. If I go see a good band,it's a good band regardless...but If anything like this happens again which I sincerely doubt... I will not be so kind next time and I will let it be known that they need to make improvements like terminating her. But don't get me wrong she does the best that she can with what she has to work with mentally to rip people off! If roughly 13 people where to actually be denied entrance ... that would quickly turn into Grande Theft because the tickets aren't cheap and they rake in the cash without delivering the product. So either she would be held responsible or the person that employs her would be held responsible legally and financially. I believe numbskull Productions put on the show I thought that was just a name of a production company...not a term for...

I'm very disappointed with the lack of responsibility of this golf resort, last Sunday 7/16/17 about 2:50 pm while driving to work on Avila Drive going in direction to the port about 300 feet before the light a golf ball hit my windshield, not only I was in shock for the severity of the hit but besides cracking my windshield I almost crashed with the car in front of me, when I turned my head to see the golf course I saw three golf carts and a few people, I had to keep driving it was a lot of traffic and nowhere to park, minutes later I tried to talk to one of the clerks Tom who gave me the wrong around and I had to wait to speak to the manager Jay next Tuesday to see how he could fix my windshield, "If I put the claim to the insurance company they won't pay you" he said "also this happens many times and small claims won't make us pay" he argued, if this happens many times why you don't put a net I asked, this time was a windshield but could of been a person I said. He didn't want to listen to what I had to say, by his rules their customers are liable for their damages, I don't know anything about the golf course policies the only thing I know is that a golf ball coming from their property broke my windshield and they don't assume any responsibility or care for the inconvenient they caused me....

I wouldn’t recommend this venue to anyone. Save your money and book elsewhere.

My family and I chose this venue for a celebration of life and were disappointed on every level. The event space was dirty when we arrived. It seems as if no one was prepared for our event. The floors had leaves and debris everywhere, there was a paint can left in the middle of the hallway, the bathrooms were atrocious, our “bartender” and event support Brooke had personal belongings (iPad, charger, boxes, dirty rags) all over the space and in the main entryway of the hallway that I had to clean up as guests were arriving.

They didn't have linens that fit the cocktail tables, and the linens they did have had black stains and dirt all over. The chairs they use were stained and ripped, and the space inside the event hall was dusty and filled with dead bugs.

When voicing our concerns and disappointments, we were told the event director and owner didn’t have time to get on a call to discuss any of this. Our family was offered $500 off our bar bill, however the venue took no ownership or fault for anything. Paying over $4,000 for the experience we had is mind blowing, and I hope no one has to endure what we did on such an important day.
