Lowk might be racist idk. I went there with my soccer team and when I asked the lady at the window if I could get a cup of water, she told me they could only give cones (like the snow cone ones) of water. I decided to buy a water bottle because it made more sense, and it cost around $3.95. Afterwards, my friend ordered a cup of water, and amazingly, they suddenly gave out cups of water for free. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not, but out of the ten people there, only one person didn’t get free water and that one person was also the only non-white person there. Idk I might be reading into it too much, but I was also charged two dollars for ranch, while my friend wasn’t charged at all. Also, she never ended up giving me my water bottle, so I had to go up there again and ask for it. Sooo…yeah, idk what her problem was with me, but the only thing I could think she could judge me on from the ten seconds she appeared at the window and when I asked for a cup of water is my appearance, where I am visibly Asian or maybe just horrifically ugly that I need to be charged for water. Read moreI rolled into town late, looking for a place to eat. This place popped up showing they are open until 9:00. I went to their website to verify, and the website said that they are open 7 days a week 11am-9pm. It was 8:10, so I walked over there and showed up at 8:20. The place was still lit up and had the big bright open sign turned on. I walked in and a guy walked out of the kitchen, looked at me and rudely said, “we’re closed bro”. Looks like other people have reported similar experiences.
I suggest you update your hours if your workers don’t want to work until your posted closing time so you don’t waste people’s time in the future. That’s the only tip you’re ever going to...
Read moreStrolling around on a Tuesday evening there weren't many options and we weren't really hungry. Beachfront called for some seafood but tonight's options were as limited as our attire so we checked the menu at the pizza place. We were pleasantly surprised by chowder in s bread bowl for only $10 as well as kids fish & chips for $10. We carried away to our hotel to discover a massive portion of chowder as well as colossal battered fish in the kids meal!! The seasoned steak fries were perfect. The fish within the batter packed salt but the batter was tasty enough. Neither of us were able to finish!! Best...
