HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE. WHERE CAN I START. Upon checking in, something seems off and wrong already. I confirmed my room details and sea view with the manager “Laura Manning” and she tried to up sale me on the same room for additional $60 a night. I declined her offer since I already paid for the best room they had already and this makes no sense to me. Poor management and sales tactic from this manager. When I got to the room and opened the open I was immediately disappointed and feel misleaded. The room was a “Park View” and the room is not 904 sq fts and it was an accessible room. (See pictures from the room I took attached showing the park view). I returned to the main office and explained what happened to another front desk employee name “Maria” and she confirmed that the manager did me wrong because the room I booked was the best and top room they had and I pay more for that room. At first, she explained that there was no such room as “Park view” but I pulled up my phone and showed her and she couldn’t say anything else and apologized and offered me a different room. Maria did mentioned that they did not guarantee the booking room description on purpose and only the bed sizes and qty (See pictures of the different rooms offered here). I was disappointed and explained to her that I just don’t understand why I have to pay more for a better room and not received what I paid for? This is not right and this is false advertising and stealing from their customers. I was professional and patient about this and did not want any issues so I took the new room key and confirm that it was the correct room I booked, but it was the “King Suite with Pool” view 549 sq fts room only. Which was closer to the room I booked and better than the previous room. So, I just kept it since this was getting ridiculous and my kids were tired and ready to rest already by the time we got to the hotel. Below is what I experienced in the (second) room I stayed in. (Smaller than the room I actually booked). - AC does not work and was on and off even though I checked the setting throughout the day and especially at night. - Bedding sheets was dirty and smell like it has not been washed for a long time. - Sofa pillows has white stains all over them - Bathroom floor was sticky and dirty -Bathroom ventilation was poor and should have a fan installed -The parking was packed and if you drive a suv or bigger, it’s hard to park and find a parking since they automatically charge you for a resort and parking fee ($50 resort and $15 parking fee per day). -The face tissue in my room was wet and nasty when I got into the room, seems like the water from the sinks got inside of it. -The wall was very thin and you can hear everything from your neighbors next door. -Breakfast was “Ok” but for the price of the room it should be better and has more amenities such as fitness center or better foods. -The bedding blankets smell horrible and had stains, I know it has not been washed and clean for the room and sofa bed beddings sheets/blankets. - Booked a”King Suite with Sea View” 904 sq fts and got the smaller room “King Suite with Sea View” 549 sq fts instead after all. No point of paying more for something and not getting it. Please see attached for pictures of some of the different rooms offers here and the room I actually booked and never got. The dates on some of the pictures are not actual date of booking and prices. This is just for your references to see the room offered here. See my actual booking details picture. I recently went on a girls’ trip to Avila Beach and chose to stay at this hotel due to its excellent location and ADA access. It was cute and well-maintained, unmatched beach views. We chose the ADA suite with 2 queen beds and a pullout sofa. The beds, bedding and pillows were very comfortable. The balcony-view was gorgeous. We all thought the breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options and someone attending the dining space, that was helpful and friendly. Overall, every staff member we encountered was very friendly. The only comment for improvement is that we stayed specifically in the ADA suite, that had a bench-shower, which was a very high tub that didn’t work for the guest with mobility issues. Maybe adding speciations on the ADA suite page online or a FAQ that has these kinds of details would be helpful. We learned that other guest rooms had walk-in showers, which actually would have better suited our needs. Adding that descriptor in a FAQ somewhere or calling it out would be useful. We were hyper-focused on the ADA aspects to make this a perfect trip and easy to navigate for our friend with mobility issues to enjoy. We were thrilled at the complimentary beach buggy wheel chair availability. It was easy to reserve and honestly made the trip for our friend that was able to get on the beach. This is a wonderful perk and was the icing on the cake to a great stay. Plenty of good food and shops nearby. Highly recommend!

We've had a few good visits in the past but they really dropped the ball on this one and they weren't too anxious to do anything about it. My wife and I work hard to get out of town in hopes of relaxing for a few days a couple of times a year before having to return to the daily grind. It was her birthday so she wanted to go there. We had reservations for three days: Friday, Saturday, her birthday, and Sunday, planning to leave early Monday morning. Early Sunday morning it was ruined.

Friday afternoon and evening were okay although we didn't get there until late afternoon. Saturday we went shopping and dined at a few of the local restaurants and by evening we were tired. We watched a movie I had brought and we probably turned in around 10:30. The racket started around 1:30 am. It sounded like a drunken party through the paper thin walls and after about an hour it became obvious they weren't going to stop so I called the desk. The desk clerk said she'd send up security and someone came up and they piped down for a while but then they started up again, not as bad as before but still loud enough to keep us awake.

The next morning I told them I wanted to talk to the manager and I got some fluff spanking girl who was full of apologies for what she admitted was a totally unacceptable and shouldn't have happened at their hotel.

I was in no mood for her sad admissions after being kept up half the night. By now I was tired and not interested in their lame excuses. That lasted for most of the day. I gathered from what the desk clerk said that security was, 'officer Wade,' who wasn't an on site security officer, but what sounded like a called in renta-cop. The fact that the noise had been permitted to go on as long as it did told me that they had no idea what was going on at their facility. I blame the management's incompetence for our discomfort. I agree with Kelly the 'manager' that it shouldn't have happened at all. We were originally planning to return in a couple of months but I'm going to look for other accommodations elsewhere and that's what I'd recommend to anyone who is seriously looking for a...

We unexpectedly needed to stay in the area, and the reviews on your place stood out. It was a bit too expensive for our budget so I called it 9 PM on 12/19 and spoke with “Jenna” and she was very patient spending over 30 minutes having me to try to figure out which one of the discounts on your website would work. (It’s a bit daunting, figuring it out, especially with the gift card that was available during Christmas also). Because of her kindness and expertise, we booked 4 nights in room (223) w/ a wrap-around balcony which was perfect as we had a clear view of the ocean (thru the parking lot), & sparkling pool both. The AM breakfast (w/ indoor & outdoor seating) was chock full of delicious food, (even ham/ bacon croissants from a local bakery each day!) Plenty of assorted juices in cans, apples, oranges, bananas, cereals in their own packaged bowls, hot, scrambled eggs, potato slices & 2 waffle makers! Only suggestion would be to have ice available as the machines are far from the dining room. RAQUEL who staffed the dining room heard I was sick. Each day she’d gently ask my hubby how I was…what a thoughtful employee❣️ The fully landscaped grounds are kept in immaculate shape with trees/pushes blooming even in Dec. The clean & perfect-temp. Hot tub & heated pool were soothing after a long drive. DAILY housekeeping (especially by stellar CLAUDIA was savored, bar soaps & lotions were high quality. Only recommendation; change the shampoo/conditioner/shower gel containers, as they are VERY cumbersome to use and hardly anything comes out.😜 A variety of FRESH baked cookies in the lobby each day w/friendly staff also adding packets of hot cocoa with festive red cups was also delightful! We unexpectedly needed to stay one extra day. ANALEZA at the front desk helped us find a very good rate so we wouldn’t have to move to another hotel…she was kind, empathetic, & detail oriented. We’ll never forget how incredible she was! The King bed was very comfy, large tub appreciated, & being off any main road =...
