Today 11/21/2022 I went back to the same Jack in the box from 4/11/2022. Today was a great experience! Rubi and Zida were very pleasant and professional. They got my order right the very first time. Thank you Rubi and Zida. You both are truly Professional Employees.
It was nothing like my bad experience back on 4/11/2022 with that incompetent, rude, stupid Amanda. Hopefully she no longer works at Jack in the Box or any other place that deals with the public. Good riddance!
I highly recommend checking your order before you leave the drive thru. I went to the drive thru this evening, 4/11/2022 and ordered my food.
When I drove up to the window I paid for my meal. Before I left I checked my order. The young lady, whose name on the receipt shows Amanda, forgot my tacos. When I informed her about her mistake she told me she did not charge me for it.
I became irritated because there are too many mistakes happening at this Jack in the Box, located on Hacienda Blvd just north of the 60 Fwy in Hacienda Heights, CA.
She asked me if I still wanted my tacos. I said yes. She asked me again if I still wanted to order my tacos. I said YES again because that was the first item I ordered, pay attention.
She then said "you know what? I'm not serving you". She then closed the window on me and walked away. Luckily there was a gentleman, who I believe may have been the manager, took my order and apologized.
I've seen videos of employees at various drive thrus doing this to customers for THEIR mistake. I believe I met my first "woke entitled" person. God help America if she is our future. Amanda, if you are reading this, you need to grow up. You are not meant to serve the public. Learn from the gentleman who understands "customer service". I Thank the gentleman for his professionalism
The following is from a prior review from last year 2021.
I ordered two orders of tacos, one Jr. Jumbo Jack burger and curly fries. The burger was good. The tacos were okay. The curly fries smelled horrible! I tasted one curly fry and spit it out. Whatever oil they used must have been contaminated or super duper old.I told the guy at the drive up window about the fries. I told him to smell it, which he did, and admitted that they smelled awful too. He aplogized and said it was probably due to the oil they were fried in. He was very polite and allowed me to exchange the curly fries for a chocolate cake. As I ate the tacos at first they seemed fine. But by the time I finished eating the last taco I began to feel sick. I was dry heaving and felt sick the rest of the day and the next day afterward. I don't know what's going on at this Jack in the Box located on Hacienda Blvd just north of the 60 freeway. Use caution. If any of the fried food smells bad don't eat it...
Read moreWe came through the drive thru & didn’t get the name of the woman on the drive thru but we came on Dec. 20, 22 at 10:55pm & after almost 10 seconds of no one saying anything on the intercom I calmly & nicely said hello? & the girl snapped on me saying very rudely & bluntly “hold on! There isn’t a lot of us here & it’s really difficult for us right now!” & muted her headset. I had worked for Jack in the box for years (left in 2021) & was repeatedly asked to me a shift lead, so I know how things are supposed to be done at most locations (how much time you have to welcome people on drive through, time goals, etc) & I have worked graveyard so I know the shift changed probably just happened & they were most likely already cleaning what needed to be cleaned & know 1st hand how difficult graveyard shift can be when there is only 3 people working (maybe 4 if you’re lucky) & if someone’s on their break there is only 2 people working but a simple “hello one moment please” would have made things much easier for everyone (especially since I know the struggle & wouldn’t mind waiting). So it really unacceptable, rude & unprofessional of her to have an attitude & talk to customers in that manner who aren’t giving her attitude or being rude themselves or causing trouble. So we just left since all of us in the car had lost our appetites because of this girl’s inability to control her frustration & unable to handle working graveyard (also pretty sure this is the same girl who’s given us low key attitude in the past but not sure but at those times gave them the Beni fit of the doubt)(as I was driving out of the drive thru my passengers were yelling profanities at her for obvious reasons & she unmuted herself as we were driving away & said something (couldn’t hear so idk what she said)) & now we will be going to another further Jack’s since we don’t want to deal with that kind of customer service. So management needs to either get her off of drive thru or fire hear completely cuz you will keep losing customers or getting complaints (since we chose to not buy anything I couldn’t put the complaint through a receipt so lucky her) but you should be worried if y’all get a mystery customer cuz you will definitely lose a lot of points just from her & don’t want the regional manager or any one else...
Read moreIf you've eaten at a Jack in the Box before, you will find what you have come to expect. I have come to expect disappointment a few too many times to give this a high ranking. I wanted chicken strips tonight, and they did not have them. On previous visits, I have tried to order late at night, because it's one of the few 24 hour restaurants near me. Except, it's apparently not 24 hours. Multiple times I have visited late at night only to be turned away. This is not really the fault of the managers and employees here, but I really do find it frustrating how Jack in the Box promotional offers seem to come and go as they please. Finally, and this is also not the fault of the managers, but the location of the restaurant kinda sucks. It's difficult to get in and out of, and it's always got traffic congestion. All in all, sometimes you just want Jack in the Box, and this place is the closest one. But that doesn't forgive the other issues...
